Unfortunately, this was the worst pharmacy experience I have ever had. They initially provided me with an incomplete dosage. The prescription was for 8 weeks, but they only gave me a 2-week supply. After realizing the dosage was incomplete once I got home, I called the pharmacy. The pharmacist responded by saying, "That was the only amount the insurance would pay for." I explained that no one had communicated this to me and that I would have paid the full amount to get the complete dose, regardless of insurance coverage. He then asked me to hold while he checked something. After a few moments, the pharmacist returned and informed me that they actually did not have any more of that medication in stock.
In hindsight, I should have paid attention to the pharmacy's existing reviews, which rated it only 2 stars out of 5. I disregarded those reviews and still chose this pharmacy, but I now realize that reviews do matter. My advice to others is: don't ignore reviews. They are there for a reason and can help you avoid such disappointing experiences.

After the debacle at their competitor next door, yes, they are located right next to each other, I came in here. At least the first impression of this place wasn't bad. Unlike next door the parking lot wasn't a mess and it wasn't packed inside with a hoard of people at the pharmacy. I walk to the aisle that would have the cards for the items I needed and headed to the pharmacy counter. Unlike next door, there was no one standing here. Maybe that wasn't a good sign, that this pharmacy doesn't get used as much as the one next door. Or maybe it was a blessing since I just dealt with that mess. Anyways, I walk up to the counter, and am ignored for a good five minutes. I could see if there was a line, but I was literally the only person standing there. The pharmacy tech was busy wiping down under the counter. Completely saw me standing there, and proceeded to wipe down under the counter. When he did finish, he finally acknowledged me. I handed him the card and waited for him to grab the medication I needed. He looks at the card, without turning around, and tells me they don't have it. At that point, I would have gave up, but I was like, yeah, no, turn around. If you didn't want to help me, you could have walked away and let someone else handle me. But don't lie straight to my face when I can see the medication on the top shelf, behind you, facing me. When I told him that in fact they did have it, it was like he was wanting me to argue with him. Instead, I just pointed and said it's right there on the top shelf. Simple transaction it would have been, but you wanted to make it harder on the both of us. I'm not even sure what is going on at this point with these pharmacy chains. But I am not surprised that they are wanting to close up stores in their chain.

3/14/2024 4:30 pm 3/9 I took a prescription for Allegra D 180 mg to my neighborhood Walgreens 600 WASHINGTON BLVD S, LAUREL, MD 20707 . I picked up the prescription, hoping I would get some very much needed sleep. I might have well not taken anything, because my condition kept getting worst. Once I really looked at the paper work for the pills that the pharmacy gave me, I realized I was given plain Allegra with no decongestant. 3/12 I called the Walgreen pharmacy to explain the problem. They had not given me the correct medication. They offered to correct the mistake. I went right away to get the corrected medication. Or so I thought. Yah! Maybe I can sleep tonight, I thought. Not so. This time they gave me Allegra D 60 mg. It did nothing for me. Unfortunately, I was so desperate I took 1 1/2 pills to get to sleep. I got sleep. 3/14 I went to appointment with ENT doctor. I told him what I had done. He explained that the pill is time released and that when I cut a pill in have, it is no longer a time release. I could have had complications. Once home from the doctor's office, I called Walgreen Pharmacy. The pharmacist said that the only thing he could do for me was let me buy another box of Allegra D 180 mg. I spent $60 for 2 boxes of Allegra 2 days before thinking that they finally got it right. My doctor had planned for me to be covered for the allergy season. I can't even use them. One box, of course was opened, the other not. This Walgreen Pharmacy has truly treated me with lack of concern.

I Gregory, went to Walgreens on 600 Washington Blvd in laurel, md at 5:43 pm. A cashier that was a young white woman, had a very rude and sarcastic attitude. SHE CLAIMED THAT SHE WAS A MANAGER AND SHE WAS NOT A MANAGER AT ALL.THE EMPLOYEES ARE SO GHETTO. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PCUSTOMERS NOT TO GO TO GO TO THIS LOCATION.

Geesh! I came here to leave a comment regarding the experience I had yesterday with the young man at the pharmacy section but when I read some of the other comments left about this store I see this is just their toxic work culture. These people are so fortunate to have a job because many are looking and you would think they would treat customers a little better. The guy was so rude but I see why now.

After thoroughly reviewing the feedback for Walgreens at 600 Washington Blvd, it is evident that there is a notable lack of concern for customer service at this location. My second encounter with a lady on the night shift, presumably a manager, further solidified this perception. Her managerial role was deduced from the fact that other employees required her access code for system-related tasks. However, her demeanor and attitude were the only indicators, leaving customers without a clear way to identify her status. My experience involved attempting to return multiple items that exceeded the system's limit, preventing the transaction. While this issue was not a major concern for me, the manager's response was alarming. Instead of understanding the situation, she treated me with a dismissive attitude, insinuating an attempt to scam the system. The lack of empathy and understanding regarding the reasons for returns is disheartening. Many customers, as evidenced by reviews, have faced challenges with Walgreens, including the presence of outdated products mixed with valid ones. Ordering online for home delivery also presents issues, with employees, including managers, inadvertently delivering expired medicine. Upon returning these products, blame is unjustly shifted to the customer.Several questions arise regarding the managerial staff's training and understanding of the system. Managers are not just figureheads; they are essential in guiding and training their team. If they lack a deep understanding of the system, how can they effectively train new employees? It is concerning when the manager claims ignorance by stating, "I don't know; the system said that." Blindly trusting the system without verification raises doubts about their competence.Managers should be familiar with the system's intricacies, as it is designed based on human input. If uncertainty persists, taking relevant courses in deep learning, machine learning, and AI should be a priority before making judgments based solely on machine output. It is crucial to emphasize that employees at Walgreens are there to serve the customers, not to treat it as their own business. The role of an employee is to support Walgreens and its customers by performing tasks diligently and responsibly. I urge the management to prioritize proper training and understanding of the system, ensuring a more positive experience for both customers and employees. In conclusion, I implore all employees, especially managers, to fulfill their roles with diligence and responsibility, keeping in mind that Walgreens is a place of employment, not a personal business.Sincerely,

Expect rude customer service, especially by the employee Ayesha. Nobody else in line and Ayesha still felt the need to be cross with me. Ayesha looked like she was under the influence of something as well, which probably contributed to her behavior during our interaction. Unfortunately, my mother had to witness Ayesha's temperament as well. Definitely someone I wouldn't employ if I cared about how my store was perceived. The hiring manager should also be looked at for the quality of their employees and hires.

I had to wait over 30min just to talk to someone. When I did speak to someone, he told me ibhad to wait another 30min to get the medication. This is the worst service I have ever experienced. They only had 3 people working and I think the prescription was not even ready for a pick up. Very bad. Stay away from this plqce.
