First time using Pickup Please service. I specified that the donations will include 4 metal bar stools. I placed all four bar stools and a donation box on the driveway, they only picked up the box and left the four chairs behind. When I called the customer service asking why, I was told that if there is no donation sign on the item, they will not pick it up. It was a very frustrating experience.

I called the number on Vietnam Veterans website and scheduled for my pickup. Pickup Please sent confirmation and reminder emails. Of course you get a nearly all day time slot, so the day they were supposed to come, someone rang my doorbell late morning. I was pleasantly surprised that the Pickup Please truck driver had all my stuff already loaded with one minor question for me. So efficient! Thanks!

This is the worst donation service.
Use a different donation service.
They never showed up again.
I called to find out what's going on, and the guy wouldn't let me talk. He just said he had 2 mins to help me. Which wasn't helpful because he never helped or figured out anything. Then he had the nerve to hang up on me. The WORST customer service I've ever experienced.

REGULAR NO-SHOWS!! For the third time this year, I have a lobby full of donations that were confirmed as scheduled for pickup but driver was either too lazy or too incompetent to ring the bell. In spite of the fact that "ring bell" is a suggested option on the donation form, the unfriendly, unapologetic lady who took my call said "it's not policy to ring bell or call" to alert donators they have arrived. They will also not beep the truck horn, but we couldn't put it in the 1st floor lobby because they didn't show up 2/3 times and we had to pay someone to move it downstairs then back up, because I have scoliosis and my girlfriend has stage IV cancer & needs both knees replaced.

5x in the last year they don’t show when they are supposed to because their truck is full. Now I have to lug everything back in and find a different charity to donate to going forward.

This is a for-profit company. Nothing you donate will be tax deductible. Up to you, but you might be better off donating to an actual charity and not a business that will sell your items for profit.

I am out of Maryland, and the last two times, I was told the driver came and couldn't find the items. The driver didn't show up. I have cameras. All items had been left on the front porch, and it was hard not to see them as it was the only thing outside. Customer service was awful!!! All I got was you didn't answer the phone when we called, so you will have to wait until next week. I will never call for pick up again. And they don't care either way, let's be honest.

Was very good. Was able to donate a lot of unused items, some practically new. They were very prompt with their pick ups. I feel everyone should donate here.

This is my honey hole of secrets. Very busy and constant flow of new merchandise. Staff is busy and are kind. I've seen grumpy customers for no reason to staff. They're truly busting butt working hard to make us happy. Large variety and selection in a small area. If you want space and credit cards this is NOT for you, but if you like the thrill of the hunt and don't mind to be patient; this may be your new spot. Tell only your best friends of this secret seriously. Happy hunting.

Sell fakes be buyer beware. Sell over priced yet fake items. If your going to sell over priced make sure the are real. Would give no star if I could.

I swear that this place is a SCAM. The cash only seems sketchy. More specifically I know that the store changes the color tags to meet their sales. For example, they may say that all the yellow, blue, and green tags are 50% off on a given day. However, when you go to the store that day you will see that most items would have a red tag and very little items have yellow, blue, and green. This way the store can make it appear that they have big sales when in reality they do not. See the photos I took of the dvds to show that they change the colors. Its amazing to me that they even bother changing colors for dvds when they are already only 2$!!! If they are doing that for low priced items then they definitely are for high priced items and I have seen it. Beware and DO NOT count on their sales. This place is a SCAM!!! People shouldn't shop here until the management stops ripping off people with these pretend sales.

Just was not allowed to purchase a Patagonia Jacket in this store due to the item being priced too low. Been thrifting for over a decade and have never had this happen to me. Bad business.
