I had a lease at The Seasons from February 2023 until March 2024.It was nice that I had my own washer and dryer as well as a dishwasher but, for the most part, the apartment was overpriced for what I got. The cheap, wood-adjacent, laminate flooring throughout every room except the bedroom was prone to issues if you got it wet and God forbid you drop anything hard on it as that would leave a deep gouge. There was a nest in the deck above my porch and it didn't take long for the porch to be covered in bird crap. The lines for the parking spaces were in desperate need of being repainted. Because The Seasons seemed to charge for everything but parking, numerous parking spaces close to my apartment were occupied by vehicles that were never moved with only temporary plates that were expired before long (this might have been fixed shortly before I moved out). Though there was a storage room on the floor plan, I was not allowed to use it.I have never had as many issues with upkeep in a 13-month span as I did there. My air conditioner stopped functioning and had to be replaced over the summer. I was given a portable air conditioner but it wasn't set up correctly and blew hot air throughout my 95 degree apartment. One of my smoke alarms started dying in the autumn and it took three days to be replaced, chirps ringing out every ten to fifteen seconds. While sidewalks were mostly maintained in winter, my parking lot was covered in ice for days. Thankfully, winters aren't especially long in Maryland but I fell twice and nearly fell about a half dozen more times. Also over the winter, water seeped through the floor in the kitchen and living room area; it took about a week and a half for the flooring to be completely replaced. I did get a free dinner and an offer for assistance on my utility bills for the period where I had trouble but no offer of a reduction of rent though 75 percent of my apartment was barely livable for ten days. The office itself had its share of issues. I had to pay one month's rent ahead of time... living in Illinois, I was never given warning that mail can be incredibly slow coming into Maryland and the certified checks I sent only came at the very last moment though I'd sent them two weeks in advance. At one point, I received a notice that I was in default of $0.00 with only an automated apology sent out after the fact. I received a handful of "urgent" notices for trivial things. Even after I declared my intention to vacate, I received offers to renew my lease. Due to so many apartments having similar addresses, packages are often lost in the complex. Although I felt pretty safe, at least two vehicles were stolen during the time that I lived there.Because I made the mistake of turning my keys into the key drop box instead of in person upon moving out (I just wanted to be gone), they were lost for days and I was charged for it. If I had to guess, nobody bothered to check for my keys. In all, I was charged over $600 for miscellaneous expenses upon leaving including cleaning the appliances and bathroom ($150), cleaning the bedroom carpet ($122 though I had a rug over three-fourths of the carpet the entire time I lived there), and damage to a wall that I had fixed but not painted over ($55 though I was sure they would paint over it anyway after I moved out). The bottom line is that there are just too many apartments in the complex for the staff they have (it seems like every maintenance issue was assigned to the same two or three employees). Although I love living in Laurel (I stayed in the area), I am glad to no longer be living at The Seasons. As to why this place is rated so high? My best guess is a lot of fake reviews.

I desperately cannot wait to leave and no longer live here! This apartment doesn't even deserve 1 star. I live in a 1 bedroom bottom unit and there is someone living above me. The noise insulation is so poor! Apartments are poorly constructed. Only a deaf person could tolerate living here. The neighbor above me sounds like she has a marching band in her unit 24/7. Especially during quiet hours. I have to deal with ant infestation when the weather is warmer. The price of rent is not at all worth what you're getting. You can pay a few hundred more and get something WAYY better. I'm stuck in a 12 month lease because I didn't tour this place beforehand since I was moving from out of state. I wish I could be let out of my lease because my mental health cannot deal with putting up with this for several more months. I'd attempt to put up with it IF the rent was cheaper. Be diligent, do your research, and tour any apartment you are considering. These apartments may look fine on the exterior but living in the apartment is another story. Some like living here but they probably got lucky and don't have to live with inconsiderate neighbors and rodents or are able to tolerate the poorly constructed apartments. I just hate that I have to work so hard to pay high rent for a place that makes me absolutely miserable! They respond to reviews with "please contact this email" as if they care and the email DOES NOT work. Management, if you actually care PLEASE let me out of my lease!

Currently living here and enjoying it so far. It has everything I was looking for in an apartment. The process from the initial tour to the leasing application was smooth and was I was assisted all throughout by Lauren at the leasing office. She was wonderful and answered all the questions I had since day one.

This apartment complex sucks. The rent is expensive, and they can’t even do their jobs. The leasing office is always busy and can never answer, if you have a problem they will not solve it and if they do weeks later they do a half job at it. I have mold in my tub and they “fixed” it and the caulk came off. The neighbors are loud and obnoxious at night, they do drugs and they have kids alone, the leasing office doesn’t care. They charge you on top of the rent when something breaks even if it’s not your fault. We had mice, and they put “traps” and never followed up. Parking is terrible, They didn’t clean the snow outside anywhere and I tripped. They don’t care, the leasing office sucks, the management sucks, customer service is awful. 0/10

I'll give you something that rhymes with The "Seasons" …...The "Reasons" why you shouldn't move here:Terrible management! No one ever answers the phone in the leasing office nor respond to emails. If there is something that requires urgency, don't hold your breath, just go and fix it yourself. When you finally get a hold of someone Weeks later, they are not empathetic AT ALL!The parking is terrible! We pay an astronomical amount of money for rent and can't even have a designated parking space! There are commercial vehicles parked in the residential area and an outrageous amount of double parking! I am a single female that works late and I have to park several blocks away which isn't safe! Not only that but the outside building lights have been out for a couple of weeks and my porch light doesn't work either,so it is pitch black when I walk up to my building! Reported this issue and management was extremely nonchalant per usual.MiceSo if you don't want live with Tom or Jerry don't remember which one was the mouse….but go ahead and just stay exactly where you are it is not worth moving into this neighborhood.
