I highly recommend Rocky Gorge for emergency treatment and any surgical procedure your animal needs. Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital is an economical piece of heaven filled with talented, compassionate, knowledgeable, thorough, beyond friendly and truly remarkable angels. My dog was seriously injured in an accident and needed a difficult orthopedic surgery. Dr. Morris, who also performed my family dog's ACL surgery, performed my dogs fractured humerus surgery exceeding well, especially given its level of difficulty, while being extremely conscientious of the cost to the customer. They have been a Godsend in performing my dogs difficult surgery while giving her the best care I could ask for, using a laser to close up her wounds after surgery, and doing this all with the foundation in mind to make it as affordable to the client as possible for example not charging me for suture removal. They provided an estimate that included a low end and high end of the procedure, and I always felt that they followed a code of ethics that I never felt like my dogs care and treatment was being exploited and capitalized on but the very opposite. I'm so grateful for Rocky Gorge because they took beyond exceptional care for my dog during surgeries and procedures and made it so without leaving me in years of debt. Thank you to the incredible orthopedic surgeon Dr. Morris, and all the staff, technicians and pharmacists that help set my mind at ease during the extremely difficult time for me going through a serious accident with my dog. I am beyond blessed for the angels and the immaculate, detailed surgeries, procedures and post-op care they provided for not only my dog, but myself as well!

I came by to get my dog’s flea & tick medication from the pharmacy. It was a seamless process. The in house pharmacy reviewed my dog’s history before choosing the right product. Just a few months ago, i initially came to Rocky Gorge for a 2nd opinion after Dogs & Cata of Bowie told me that my dog would die if I didn’t leave her overnight with them…a scare tactic and money grab. Dr. Kelliebrew was completely transparent and I trusted her diagnosis. She saved my 10 year old dog and now she has a new patient. After being a Banfield customer for 20 years with my last 3 dogs. My dog is now officially a Rocky Gorge client forever! Thank you for giving me more time with my beloved dog. I’m forever grateful.

Drs. Smith and Buyert were fantastic, competent, and very personal. They took such great care of our yellow Lab, Sammy. Their assistants , Ashley and Stephanie were also wonderful. I am impressed with their knowledge and patience when asking questions about the dog. I would highly recommend Rocky Gorge’s Emergency Care facility.

I would highly recommend Rocky George Animal Hospital to other pet owners because of the exceptional care and compassion the staff show towards my dog. The veterinarians and support staff are not only incredibly knowledgeable but also patient and understanding, particularly when handling my toy Maltipoo, who can be quite anxious during grooming or vet visits. They take the time to make her feel safe and comfortable, which means the world to me as a pet parent. Their attention to detail and genuine love for animals shines through in every visit.

I visited the ER with a dog that suddenly became very ill. The staff immediately took him into the ER for triage, and he was quickly seen by a veterinarian. The veterinarian assessed him and recommended admission to the hospital after providing a detailed explanation of her diagnosis. The staff also provides high and low estimates for his stay. My dog is currenly In the hospital getting exceptional care. Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital has been caring for my dogs for 30 years, they are the best!

Love the vets and staff and I was surprised that the services were not outrageous! We’ve seen three different vets and they were all warm, knowledgeable and took their time with me and my 2 pups. Highly recommend!
