I have been with PNC since 2010, and never had an issue with the Bank, In fact when people ask me about my experience with PNC bank I always tell them that it's been excellent and I would highly recommend it. BUT I realize yesterday that the only reason I haven't had an issue with PNC bank, is because I've never needed customer service until yesterday and the customer service at PNC BANK IS THE WORST I HAVE SEEN, next to Verizon. Me and my wife are in one of the happiest stages of our life, we are buying our first home. We have been shopping for some time, but we found one we LOVE and put in an offer. We were beyond happy when our offer was accepts and to seal the deal on the new home, we put down a $5000 dollar. so, I wrote a check (maybe the first check I've ever written) anyways the check when thru and the money has been taken out my account. Me and my wife have been celebrating for a few days and telling all of our friends and family about our new home. Anyway, I checked on the account late last night and to my surprise I have more then I was expecting...(weird) why do i have more money in my account then I was expecting. scrolled down to see what the issue and there it was...THE CHECK BOUCNED due to IIRREGULARE SIGNATURER. I want to make this perfectly clear; I WAS NOT CONTACTED ABOUT THIS ISSUE. NO CALL, NO EAMIL, NO TEXT...and in my option I should've received all 3. I immediately call customer service, to which i tell them I need this check to go thru, and explain that I am in the processes of buying a home and can't have the bounce, the person i spoke to basically told me there is nothing she can do and i will have to redo the check. I will be leaving this bank ASAP....NOT ONLY WAS I NOT CONTACTED about this issue, I lost the home:(...SO i will be leaving this bank, and advices anyone that is considering this bank to STAY AWAY, Because when you need them they will NOT be there to help you.

Twice I've gone to the PNC Bank, Laurel, MD, on Van Dusen across the street from the hospital. The drive though was closed both times. Why? No sign up saying under repair or what. Front door has only bank lobby hours. I have a sprained left leg and need to stay off my feet as much as possible.

Horrible customer service received from Nadia Rodriguez. It's a shame when you go into a branch prepared to do a simple transaction (withdrawal) and the associate tells me that she is unable to give me money. I completely understand that things happen that's out of our control but please recommend a suitable solution. I had to ask if she could call another branch to see if they had 2,000 for me to withdraw. Nadia Rodrigues stated that she could not call. I also asked if she could increase my limit at the atm. She said with an attitude that I have to call. Why does she still employed. The branch wasn't busy, and she wasn't willing to help at all. I have been in banking for 11 years and know that this is not in any shape or form acceptable. The branch had 2 customers during my visit and about 4 people working! I left having to call around to withdraw 2,000 from my account. I am glad that I went to the Main Street branch and was taken care of there. Nadia Rodriguez needs escalation training for future instances where systems may be down.

Nadia a bank rep answered the phone was very unhelpful and rude. Their ATM machine in the drive through has major issues. 1st it took my debit card then another time it took my check that deposit and then it read an error message I called the branch and Nadia wouldn't even check to se if my check stuck in the ATM machine. This is by far the worse branch to deal with . The branch on Main Street is much better.

If you don't hold an account with them and simply trying to cash a check from them they make you feel/treat you like a criminal.

Poor customer service skills. Rude. Has an attitude. The lady did not wear a name tag and was snappy during my visit. Also it's none of your business on what I do with my money.

I went to this location to deposit a check in the drive thru. The entire encounter took me 20 minutes, from the time i arrived (there were no cars ahead of me) to the time I got my receipt. I was greeted by a teller, who then walked away and completed a transaction for a customer inside. When he returned to get my transaction from the tube, he informed me that he needed my license and debit card. I immediately provided both, but he'd taken another customer and I was left waiting again. Then a new teller greets me, takes my transaction, and a few minutes later tells me that I have to deposit the full amount because my account is new. No problem. But instead of him depositing my check, he send me back the check, deposit slip, my license, and my debit card and doesn't tell me why he didn't perform the deposit. After hitting the call button several times, the first teller speaks to me again and does the deposit. There are now 6 cars behind me and no apology as to all the time I'd wasted and why the second teller didn't just deposit the check. If I'd known a basic deposit could've taken 20 minutes, I would've just gone inside or used mobile deposit. I'm very disappointed with the level of customer service and lack of concern for people who had to wait with their vehicles running, wasting time and gas. I will never go back to this location. I'm hoping that this doesn't reflect on the bank as a whole, or I'll likely have to switch banks.
