DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE! This facility is full of unprofessional and non-Christian people. The director Becky doesn’t know how to handle serious situations when it comes to child safety. The building is ran down and has no air conditioning to the point where kids are relocated. The teachers that I have come into contact with are not friendly and lack knowledge about child development which makes me question if the teachers are really certified to teach. The biggest turn off from this place was an individual that lives a certain lifestyle that confuses our kids and led them to ask which gender the individual is and now the school hired her as the supervisor. You register your child to attend a Christian school to be taught about the biblical views but they hire individuals that exhibit the opposite of Christian views. If I were you, I would avoid this place at all cost because your child will not benefit academically or socially. The owner says "We have passed all Office of Childcare inspections, and we are fully licensed by the state of Maryland as a safe, lead teacher certified, educational center." but trust me when I say they go around hiding things from failing their inspections. A bunch of text alerts are sent to the teachers to hide things before the inspection person gets to their room. Yes, Jesus loves all children but this facility has no Christian values. Learn to treat ALL individuals (employees AND CHILDREN) with the same RESPECT!

Open Arms has EXCEEDED all my expectations. This was my first time sending my 2 year old to daycare and I was beyond nervous but quickly became comfortable after meeting the staff. I've never experienced a business where every single employee is kind. You can feel their love for God and children. Ms. Louise and Ms. Rose are true gifts to this world. The director is warm and honest, the teachers are fun and energetic, the school is clean and safe. Thank you Open Arms!

I went here for 2 years and everything was great! the teachers were wonderful and caring and it was fun. The summer camp is amazing too, plus the halloween event they did in 2019. 5 stars is little for this school!

Lady who showed me around was not able to give me specific information on the centers curriculum. I also noticed that classrooms with 20 preschoolers only had 1 toilet per classroom where the state requires 2 toilets for 20 children. Poor planning and design. I’m not sure how this was overlooked?

Open Arms Child Care is one of the best child care centers in the state of Maryland. My family and I are very pleased with the care of all the staff members at this center. My oldest daughter, my nephew, and several family friends graduated from this center and they were well prepared for kindergarten. I currently have a two year old daughter who attends the center and she has top-notch teachers, Ms. Mabel and Ms. Evelina. As an educator myself, I have no doubt in my mind that my child is being taken care of. The light in Open Arms Child Development Center continues to shine brighter and brighter.

Teachers are pretty nice but the management is terrible. All they care about is the money/fees, literally!

I absolutely LOVE Open Arms. My four year goes here full time and my 6 year old goes to the aftercare. I LOVE the Christian foundation that they get and the academic curriculum. My 6 year old is picked up from her school and brought to Open Arms daily. I feel safe withmy girls in their care.
