We were traveling today from NC to NJ when we had a problem with our transmission. We called AAA and they referred us to North Laurel and they took us right away. I'm sorry I can't remember the man's name who helped us because he was very nice. He explained the problem. Luckily we could wait to fix the car, and we were able to get back on the road to our family in NJ. Would definitely recommend them!

I had a fantastic experience working with Chris at North Laurel transmission he was upfront and honest and even showed me the different parts that he replaced on the truck after replacing them. I would highly encourage anyone to use the shop if I have issues in the future, I would definitely go back there.

Chris, the owner is friendly and professional. He has worked on two of our vehicles and we are pleased with the work. We feel his prices are fair and reasonable. Most recent work was breaks, rotors, and drivers seat side panel replacement.

I recently I had a power window motor repaired and spark plugs changed on my 2002 Honda Accord. The work was done professionally and timely by the service technicians there. My Honda is running great. I wouldl certainly recommend North Laurel Transmission to others for all of their vehicle repairs.

My son’s 2008 Honda Accord broke down on Thursday evening. The axle snapped. I had it towed to North Laurel transmission. Chris and his team had the car fixed the next day. The price was super reasonable and the service was fantastic. He has a customer for life.

The team there is awesome! They fixed my problem and the price was amazingly low! I was thrilled and I've gone back to them to see if they could help me out with a problem with the seals around my windows. He called Honda and agreed to help me out. I am very pleased.

This shop has worked on all my cars for the last 7 years. I've never had any issue with the staff or the work that they've done on my vehicles. They are integrous and reasonable in cost. Great people,great shop!

Got us in right away and fixed our transmission. We are from out of state and needed to get back on the road and Chris kept us on schedule. Our truck runs great and made the 2500 mile trip back home with zero problems.

Sharing this again because they deleted the review previously. I can only imagine they've deleted others as well.Went into NLT a while back for a vehicle inspection. My vehicle had a brake light that I wasn't sure if I could replace the bulbs individually, or if the whole assembly had to be swapped out. Told Chris my concern with this, brought my own bulbs with me, and asked them to replace the bulbs during the inspection. Fast forward to picking up the car and they tell me it was indeed a whole assembly that needed to be swapped out instead of the individual bulbs, and they had already done it. I NEVER asked them to replace the assembly, because I could have done that myself after confirming whether the bulbs could be swapped out or not. Went back and forth with Chris about this for five-ten minutes because it is ILLEGAL to perform something like that without notification/consent from the customer first (ironic note: when I came back to get a refund for them swapping the assembly, Chris was on the phone with another customer telling them about a repair they needed the authorization for). He finally admitted that they should have notified/asked me before the replacement, but would not refund me the full cost.I later filed with the District Attorney's office to help with the refund, although they can not force that. However, what I found interesting is that Chris' claims of what happened were complete and total lies stating the exact opposite of what they did at NLT. He claimed I asked for the assembly replacement and that they did in fact call me to inform me they were doing so, both of which are complete lies to cover his own behind.TLDR: NLT will do things without customer authorization and bill them for it, then deny a full refund, which is an extremely illegal business practice. The owner, Chris, will even lie straight to your face and tell you they did the right thing. Avoid this place to avoid paying unnecessary costs that shouldn't have even been brought up.

For 20 years, North Laurel Transmission is the only place I go to get my BMW fixed. They fix every thing on the car including the transmission. I have tried other places and even the BMW dealership and I was not satisfied with the quality of service or the price. Chris & his team always provide great service, treat their customers as priority at a fair price. Choose North Laurel Transmission, you won't be disappointed!!! Seth

I had the transmission repaired on my 2005 Toyota corolla about seven years ago and it still works like new. I recommend it.
