I want to leave a positive rating, but I can't. I ordered sisterlock shampoo, sisterlock spray, and their lemongrass mist on June 17. They did not process my order until July 4. Once the package arrived, the lemon grass bottle totally was empty. The top was completely off. The sisterlock supplies were fine. I emailed them with a picture of the inside of the box. No response.

I got my starter locs just yesterday. They are so pretty I absolutely love how they came out.

Lauren started my locs and continues to do my maintenance. She's certified, professional, and pays meticulous attention to detail. My hair has flourished under her care. I get compliments eveytime I leave the house. Locspiration Salon is the best!

My daughter (elementary age) and I went to Lauren for an initial consult & it was thorough. She listened to my concern sregarding my daughter's starter locs & mature locs. She listened to where we wanted to go on our journey & provided so much information. She answered every question, was extremely kind, took her time getting to know us, & made great plan of care. She also provided policies and expectations for incoming clients & services she provides.
We decided to get serviced. I got highlights and is in love with my hair! My daughter got her first retwist and gave Lauren 2 thumbs up. Lauren is extremely gentle & patient. She holds great conversation, plays great music, and overall have a great personality. Pricing is affordable & there's even a point system! Scheduling is extremely easy & her products smell & feel amazing. Not a flake or itchy spot after service.
We are excited for our next service!

i ordered shampoo and conditioner on 1/18/24 and i just received the conditioner on 2/01/24 .i called the company last week and was told they would send my order out on Monday .Tuesday i received a call and they said they were going to send my products out .I received the conditioner on 2/01/24 but no shampoo.I called the business and was told they will send the shampoo out on Monday .This is the first time i used this business but never again .I try to support black owned establishment but this was just a disregard for customer service and i had to keep call instead of being informed regarding the status of my order

Hello,I have started the sisterloc journey. Not pleased at all with pricing. Just yesterday service was quoted $192.50. an additional fee was charged, because the time went over by five or 10 minutes. Which was not all my fault when the services is never started on time. This is my second retie, did not pay as much as the first time. When make appointments you pay a $50 deposit, and I was told that your $50 deposit that you pay go towards your service. The amount paid was just for the retie, no wash, no style normally I have to wash my hair before I go. Before I went for a updo because I was in a wedding, was not happy with the style that I got and still had to pay over 100 for that. Felt like because I complained before, there would’ve have been a leeway or maybe a discount for the service this time. Given stylist a second chance, but still not happy with and results again. This is a let out for me!

Went years ago. Terrible service. Took longer than the appointment time then charged me $20 for each additional 15 minutes. I would have just paid whatever the fee was. Didn't have to lie about the price. Would never go back or recommend.

Met with Lauren, while sweet and well mannered, I paid a consultation of $50 just to be told my hair was not ready for extension at 2.8 inches. Received 3 other consultations stating my hair was beyond long enough for extensions. She may have been uncomfortable doing my hair but $50 consultation fee is absurd.

I generally never leave reviews but my experience with this place was so awful I left in tears. Please be careful going here. She's fraudulent and not straightforward.
