I recently purchased a new vehicle from King Kia of Laurel. I highly recommend Nana and Stephan. I had not had a pleasant experience with previous Kia dealerships in the DMV area and was very apprehensive with King Kia of Laurel. I inquired about a vehicle online and made an appointment with Nana. I will say parking was not the best as the dealership was under construction. All services of purchasing a vehicle happened in trailers. They both listened to myself and my mom who accompanied me in what I was looking for and my price point. I bought in my own financing and did not get any push back for using it. I mention this b/c all other prior dealerships pressured me to use Kia financing despite me having my own. I was already exasperated with other dealerships so my guard was up but that quickly went away when I did not feel pressured to do anything I did not want to do. Financing took some time as there were people in front of me and there was only two finance people there that day and quite a few people buying cars. Once I was in the finance office, I was not pressured to get additional add-ons and it took 10 min and I was done. Stephan did go above and beyond as well, my new vehicle was not detailed great, and Stephan was also unhappy with what he saw and told the detailing team to do better. Nana set up my Kia Connect and I left with my new vehicle. If you have read this far, again I highly recommend Nana and Stephan, they turned my unpleasant buying experience to a much better one which turned out to be a new vehicle purchase.

Our visit to King Kia started off fantastic. We were planning on getting two cars, one for my parents first, and then one for my family the following weekend. Kristen was an amazing sales consultant. She was very patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. The price was great and I was pretty convinced we were coming back the following weekend to get a telluride. That is until we got to financing.
Our experience with Denise was one of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had. She was irritated that I asked about where a price difference occurred (roughly $50 was added to registration and tags from the previous price). When asked about that change, she just said "that other price is never right". Ok. Then she huffed and puffed that I actually wanted to read what we were signing. At one point she said "hurry and sign, I have other customers waiting". She actually said that. While we were purchasing a new car. Then after some paperwork, she just handed my dad a tablet and said "sign here". I asked to see what he was actually signing for. Denise said "most people just sign". After looking at the online documents, there were multiple digital signatures that he was being asked to sign for. An especially glaring section that specifically states "You agree to the terms of this contract. You confirm that before you signed this contract, we gave it to you, and you were free to take it and review it. You acknowledge that you have read all pages of this contract..." This is not a digital copy of something we were handed a printed copy of. She was asking us to just sign without reading, a document that specifically states that we were presented to review. At this point, if the car was for myself, I would've walked out. The car was a good price though, and I didn't want this person to be the reason my parents didn't get a good deal. So after all the signing is done, she just hands us the envelope and sits back down at her computer waiting for us to leave. No congratulations or thank you. Just making us feel like we were trespassing or something. Suffice it to say, we won't be returning to get that second car here.
Also, the brand new car had a dent in the door. Seems to be pretty common here.
Sales is great. The prices are great. Be prepared to be disrespected during closing financing.

The customer service at this dealership has to be the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I have been promised a call back from a supervisor for 2 weeks and still nothing even after I called back in I was told the supervisor was “very busy”. I will take my business elsewhere and would suggest you do the same. It used to be an amazing dealership as I have purchased 3 cars over 10 years from here. I would rather drive to another state than purchase from here and will do that when looking for my next car. And if you notice they only respond to 4 and 5 star reviews on google. Clearly because they have no responses for the negative comments.
UPDATE:finally just drove up to dealership to speak with someone. That was in June they took pictures for a warranty item on my car, never once do they update me on the status of the warranty items. I have to bug the service advisor every few weeks to which he informs me “parts are on back order” totally understandable. But that should be something they should be communicating to me not me reaching out every few weeks for 2 months for updates. This dealership has severely gone downhill since the new ownership and clearly there is lack of accountability on all levels of management. Maybe they think the remodel will help the dealership but honestly I don’t think much besides a complete retraining of staff can. One day I even got a text that “your car is ready for pick up from service” when I hadn’t even brought it in. There are so many things going wrong at this dealership a shiny new show room and coat of paint won’t help it.

I bought a vehicle here in June and two months later am still experiencing issues from their lack of efficiency. Paperwork wasn’t done correctly so I had to have my car re-inspected months later at inconvenience to me, in addition, my temp tags were expiring and I called to ask if my tags were in and never got a call back. I brought my vehicle in for extended tags and the inspection and never got notified it was finished, the service people told the finance office that I was there on the premises waiting, even though I was very clear hours before that I would not be staying to wait. It’s been months of heartache and one thing after another. Now I have to wait until Monday for tags that should have been done today when my car was there unnecessarily for hours on Friday! I hope to never step foot in this place again, I don’t have time for all of the BS they throw at me constantly. I’m furious with the service at this Kia and recommend anyone LOOK ELSEWHERE!

A joke of a dealership, went in and was barely acknowledged. Only person that offered to make it somewhat right was Jennifer. Their loss though, was ready and willing to pay the entire car then and there on an Infiniti they had and give the salesperson the commission of the sale. Definitely gonna take my business and money elsewhere now.

Everyone at King Kia of Laurel was absolutely amazing! Buying my first brand new car was stressful but Kristen Parris and the rest of the team were extremely helpful, efficient and considerate of my time and needs. It was such a painless and easy process thanks to all of their help and attention. I never felt pressured and they were quick to answer all of my questions, even after purchasing the car. They had it delivered to my house the next day and continue to be of service. Thanks Kristen and team for an amazing experience!

Took my daughters Kia in for an oil change. I made an appointment online for 11:00am. I had other concerns for them to address: Oil filter housing, cv joint, and a door panel. They changed the the passenger side drive shaft (cv joint) under warranty, got the oil changed and put a new oil filter housing on. Not under warranty and said they need to order a part for the door panel. I told them I would be waiting there. They are doing a remodel of there facilities at this time.
Here is why the one star rating:
My appointment was at 11:00am, they got my car in about 11:40 put it on the lift. No one worked on it until two hours later. Then changed the oil and filter housing. Then no one worked on it for another hour and a half. There waiting room had nothing in it no bottled water no coffee just straight up chairs and a table. Was never even asked if I needed anything. I was able to watch nothing being done on my car from outside the building because the roll up doors were open. When I walked up closer (but still outside the building). A lady came up and asked if I needed anything. I told her was just observing my car being worked on. The time now is after 5:00 pm. She asked if I could go and wait in the waiting area…. She thought it was a little creepy me watching work being done on my car. So over 5 hours later, I am informed my car is ready…. Did they check the rest of the fluids? Did they check the air in tires did they reset my oil change timer? Who knows these items were not addressed at check out. 5:40pm it was time for them to go home. Comments on this review are welcome.
