Kiddie Academy Laurel is one of the best childcare centers I have ever seen so far. It's has well equipped child friendly classrooms and playgrounds, the best of staffs, and interesting programs for kids. Always clean and hygienic surroundings, safe for kids as well. I will always recommend this childcare center for any upcoming mother.

Our threenager has been attending KAL since she was 18 months, and it’s been truly a blessing being able to have the utmost trust and respect for all of the staff with our little one. She not only is nearly prepared for kindergarten but she also knows Spanish, yoga, math, and science which we attribute largely to KAL! Thank you to all of the staff for teaching and guiding our baby as if she were your own!

Kiddie Academy is amazing hands down. From Ms. Brandy, Ms. Addy, Ms. Samantha, Ms Kiesha, ect are the real MVP's. My oldest attended Kiddie Academy for 3 years and my youngest currently attends. I credit Kiddie Academy staff with my kids development and social skills. They deserve more than six figures because of there hard work. If the current staff started to leave for career opportunities or other reasons, I'd withdraw my youngest. As long as they are there Kiddie Academy will have my business. Although I strongly disagree with the price hikes, the staff makes it worth it. Hopefully they're getting a percentage. Also how about using some of those funds to upgrade those outdated playgrounds

My 4 yr. Old started attending Kiddie Academy a year ago and it was the best decision I made. My son had been home with me since he was born and had never been in a daycare so I was very apprehensive about him starting daycare. The staff , the teachers eased all my worries. The teachers genuinely care about the children and my son looks forward to going to school which made me feel so comfortable. The director Brandy, is amazing! She not only cares deeply about the kids but she cares about the parents. It’s rare to find directors that care about the staff, kids and parents. They truly have been a gem in me and my son’s life. Definitely highly recommend.

My husband and I completed two tours - an in-person and a virtual. During the in-person tour, everything seemed to had went well. We spoke with the Assistant Director Ms. Chrissy and asked our questions. What seems off is that after I as the mother asked about the clause in their application called "Release of Liability " paragraph - things seemed to be weird. Not on Ms. Chrissy part but after she directed the Director to reach out to.us to further discuss. The director never contacted us, instead we received a form explaining the mandated reporting procedures. For someone like me who is an actual mandated reporter because of the field I work in, it was an insult and shady. Let me educate the parents - no one should ever sign an application with a "Release of Liability " clause. This releases the school from the Liability/Accountability if anything were to happen to your child and that includes death. All parents should want to know what is the school's policies on protecting the children while under their care, especially if they are there for 4-8 hours. I have emailed and called and haven't received a response since I asked for their policy regarding their accountability and responsibilities while my child is in their care. There should also be an option for a parent to decline or accept that clause in the application. To completely ghost a family.that is in need of educational components and overall answers for their child's safety is extremely unprofessional and shady. PARENTS, PLEASE READ EVERY PARAGRAPH BEFORE YOU SIGN SOMETHING ESPECIALLY SOMETHING REGARDING YOUR CHILD'S CARE!!!!!! Kiddie Academy this demonstrates the opposite of what was told to me which was - "we believe in transparency".

My daughter started at Kiddie Academy of Laurel in October 2021, left for 5 months and returned in January '23. I switched daycares due to the distance from our home, but I absolutely love KAL and the quality of care for the children. My daughter has a language delay and they are so patient with her and trying to help her develop her speech. It took some time for her to get comfortable, but she is now excited to go to school everyday. I would definitely recommend this location to other parents.

My daughter has been attending Kiddie Academy now for over 3 months and I can honestly say that she’s grown so much since day one. My daughter is receiving speech therapy monthly, and I was worried about her communication skills. Since starting, she been talking, and socializing more with her peers and at home as well. Her teachers are well experienced, and understanding for all of her needs. I am so happy that I chose this school, and I am excited to see her progress moving forward as she continues the program. She’s grown in so many ways and she happy everyday after school . Thank you Kiddie Academy, truly.

We found out about the Kiddie Academy of Laurel last September 2022 after being advised by our pediatrician to get our son involved with more social activities.Since Caleb was born during in 2021 like most babies born during the pandemic; being in long term isolation, he lacked that very important aspect of Early Childhood Development and that's socialization skills. When he started at KAL, we had him enrolled two days a week. First, he was very, very, shy and reserved BUT once we switched it from two days to three; Caleb became used to his new routine and became further acquainted with his classmates. His Dad, Grand-Parents and I offer special thanks to the love and care of his providers Ms. Samantha, Ms. Barbara and their excellent teacher assistants of the TWO's class!Caleb is using transitional sentences daily, he's very expressive, pointing at everything, smiling and laughing; he’s a well-rounded little toddler! These ladies take the time and care to understand Caleb's individual needs. There is a wonderful line of communication between the staff, teachers, and parents.Ms. Brandy and her administrative staff take time to make sure all administrative paperwork is in order and all policies and procedures are followed! We would like to provide a special THANK YOU to Ms. Denise for the care she provides in preparing the nutritional daily meals for the children.Anytime I enter into the doors of KAL I am greeted with warm smiles and great conversation; I truly feel a part of the KAL family!I am a part of a mom's group and have been telling my friends about how I love Kiddie Academy of Laurel!Keep up the EXCELLENT work!

My little one absolutely loves going to KAL! She has attended KAL since she was 18 months ( she is now 3). Since her start she not only has honed in manners and patience but knows all of her colors, letters, shapes, and even spanish words and phrases! Her teachers have even helped her potty train. She truly enjoys her time at KAL!

I was pretty scared sending my daughter Phoenix to school for the first time ever. But Kiddie Academy made the transition very smooth. My daughter has been there for 2 years now and she loves it! Every time I pick her up she has a big smile on her face and she can't wait to go back! She loves her teachers and all the new friends she has made. I highly recommend this school if you are in the Laurel area!

KAL IS THE PLACE TO BE!!!! KAL has provided the safety and security we all pray for as parents but also an enriching environment for our child to thrive in. We love the curriculum, the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the facility, and the direction that KAL staff and directors have provided to not only the babies but to the parents as well. KAL is a great school for your little one to be in!

My daughter had been suppressed at home due to only being 2.5 months when Covid hit. She didn’t start any formal care until she was nearly 3 years old. She was afraid to talk to strangers and did not having any friends her own age. She has been with Kiddie Academy of Laurel for just over 4 months and we have seen an amazing progress. The teachers and staff are so friendly and supportive towards both the student and parents. She became fully potty trained within 3 weeks. There are an array of activities provided on a daily basis and also to celebrate holidays and historical moments. My child is excited to go to school each day and even ask to go on the weekends. She’s the average 3 year old picky eater but eats all her meals at school and she even went back to take 1.5 hr naps when she hadn’t taken a nap in nearly a year before she started. Overall, our family is impressed with the education and quality of care at this institution. We highly recommend this school for your little ones.

My daughter moved here after attending a daycare in DC for awhile, and she does not do well with change. That said, The staff here made her transition as smooth as could be, by being welcoming and caring accross the board. The facility is always clean, the staff is attentive, and their handling of covid and security protocols is stellar. Could not recommend this place more.
