Brandon at this store is always very nice and goes above and beyond when other stores would just tell you no. I didn’t have a receipt for a return and he called a tech department and got my transaction number and other details and was able to process my return. I’ve seen him other time and he’s always very nice.

Been here several times. Always nice folks behind the counter.Note - In case google doesn’t update the hours, they actually open at 12 on Saturdays and Sundays.

Went into the GameStop in laurel the other day to return a couple games and pre-order the new street fighter game. My experience with the store associate was amazing. They were very helpful and gave me great information about the new games coming out this summer. On the negative side if you have any games that you just purchased please don’t trade them in at GameStop. I paid 65$ for the hogwarts legacy game and the value for trade in is 22$ ? that’s a big ripoff. So if you’re looking to trade in games or sell them goto a pawnshop or sell online. All in all I’ll shop at the laurel GameStop again!

I have been to this store along my son who really likes it coz he says "Baba, this store is BIG". It's spacious and you don't feel in a crowd. Service upscaling is always an option for management.

Please be advised that I went to game stop on fort Meade rd on yesterday and was told that they would have PlayStation 5 in stock the next day so I told the cashier that I would be back in the morning. I went back to the store the next morning and the manager gonna tell me that they have none in stock.

Yeah, I notice they kinda lie a lot to be honest. Happened twice already with the Transformers helmets. They told me they called me and I nearly missed my chance for the Optimus Prime helmet, however I never received it and when I called I was told different information from an employee than a manager. However, I made it on "time" apparently and was able to pick up my Preordered item.Fast forward to today, I ask about my Soundwave helmet, which I never received a call about. The employee (Who I believe is the manager I spoke with last time who gave me false information), told me I missed my chance to get the Soundwave helmet and that they called everyone who preordered several time and left messages. I told them, I have their number saved, I have my voicemail set up, and I never ever received a phone call about the helmet. They told I can still get it, but they'll need to order it to come into their store. I just think it's wild how many hoops I got to go through to figure out where my preorders are at. It's mainly this game stop specifically. I have never received a phone call for ANY of my preorders. I live in the constant fear of losing my pre-order because I'm never told when it comes in.

Don’t order online for same day delivery from this store unless you have the time to go in store to correct their mistake. Ordered a gaming system for same day delivery and received a GAME only. Then when i called to tell them, they wanted me to drive all the way over there to fix the issue- GameStop online chat nor the in store employee were able to offer me any other option. This is terrible customer service after employee carelessness. Who in the world would approve a $60 game be sent to a customer with a receipt that totals $300….. mind blown. I spent over an hour of driving to fix their mistake. Went from a convenient “same day delivery” option to a super inconvenient drive to get what i paid for. I will never order from this specific store again….

This GameStop is horrible! Whenever I’ll have my kid go inside by himself a lady with a pink wig on always attacks him. Even when he is just going in there for a giftcard she attacks him! He even says that my parent said I can go in. My son is 14 and I feel like he is mature enough to go inside a store without an adult by his side.

The gentleman Scotty was very helpful, professional, and knowledgeable of the products. The manager Sam was also very polite. The store has a great selection of items and was clean. I would recommend.

Bowie salesperson alerted me when the Xbox Series X was available Dec 2021. Greatly appreciated. Because the foot traffic is less than it used to be service doesn't take as long when they were at your peak it just takes too long to purchase anything out of there. It was too much chatter. The sales personnel always trying to get the customer to buy more memberships. Im just a recreational user.
