I liked the gym however I haven't gone for quite sometime and decided to cancel my membership. I have been attempting to do so for 4 months now. However, despite multiple phone calls, emails and sending a letter as well I have received no response from the owner and was forced to contact my credit card company to dispute the charges. I'm very disappointed in their lack of integrity and lack of response.

Really great gym. The staff, the equipment and the atmosphere are all great. The personal training there is exquisite and the results I'm seeing are more than I could have asked for.

If you looked at my past review, you'd know that I'm not just a guy that posts bad things about businesses. I give any and all businesses the benefit of the doubt, even when they do me wrong. Odenton Fitness was my go to gym. I loved it here and loved the people. About a year or so ago I had gotten laid off from work. With my savings being my only source to keep my lights on, a roof over my head, and food in my refrigerator, I reached out to, what I thought was a gym focused on community and informed them of my situation and that I had to put my membership on hold. What I was told was, this is a 12 month contract and it needed to be honored. I absolutely get that, but what you're suggesting was that I opt to pay a gym bill instead of my essential bills? I didn't respect that. Then, I get a letter in the mail a few months later, from a lawyer and a bill of close to $300, with them threatening to sue. So they added monthly payments even tho my keycard was no longer active and I wasn't able to attend. Lol. All because I had misfortune of being laid off. Well the bill is paid Odenton Fitness. And I know you probably don't care, but you lost a pretty active member of your community that brought your business more business as 5 of my friends joined off of the strength of me. And I have been rehired. For about a year now. But I will never visit a facility that treats people in a time of need the way I was treated. I wish Yelp allowed me to give you zero stars.

My son attended the facility when the location was at the Laurel Boys and Girls club. Mr. Crawford was good with the kids but I was tired of walking in each time my son had a class seeing him doing the same exact thing over and over. I wanted to see different techniques from time to time. However, I really decided that I would not reinstate my son when I dropped him off for class one day and left to sit in the car until class was over but when I walked in close to class being over I see my son age 8 at the time sitting in the corner watching the trainer working with the older kids. Mr. Crawford was out on this day. My son was the youngest one there for that class. However, I walked in questioning my son why he was sitting in the corner and not doing what the other kids where doing?. My son tells me "because he told me to sit here" Now I am trying to determine how long he been sitting in the corner doing absolutely nothing. After the trainer determined that I was the parent fussing, he then wants to call my son over to work with him 3 minutes before class is over then the trainer say "God Job" to my son. Good job? doing what? sitting in the corner possibly for the entire session of class? I could have taken my son to the playground for free if they were going to have him sit. Good deal as far as the cost but I would suggest not signing up younger kids. They will not take the time or put in the effort working with them as they do with the older kids.

I go Monday-Friday at 9:00 am until about 11th. Me. Crawford is a great teacher and there's so much I can say about him but you'll have to see for yourself. It's a great experience.

Na'eem is an amazing trainer! I just moved from Maryland to Massachusetts, and his classes at Odenton Fitness are what I miss the most.

Crawford is the real deal! If you are serious about boxing and/or improving your athleticism, come here and train like a pro.

The problem is they have 3 trainers that actually know what they are doing. And most of them except 2 are incredibly harsh on their new kids. This one guy came into the gym in a postman uniform yelling at kids for not hitting the speedbag right on his first try.

The morning boot camp is great. I come out of there every time feeling like I got a great workout in. The group atmosphere is encouraging and Coach will take the time to make sure you are doing the exercise right. If you feel you need to modify he also lets you know what you can do if its too much.
