I'll lead with my employee experience; five stars. The two I worked with were friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. The location itself needs some renovation. The truck I rented was older (more than 100k miles) and had a tire and roof with slow leaks that otherwise soured an agreeable driving experience. For a self move in the local-short range the price is certainly very competitive but, if you're moving medium-long range I would consider alternative options.

I've always have a good experience at the Laurel location. The lovely lady who runs that location is the best. If they don't have the vehicle I asked for, I'll get an upgrade for free. Only down side is they don't have the night drop off.

Bunch of thieves, car was dropped off 30 minutes late after not having drop off location in pensacola clearly marked charged me for a whole other day straight up robbery cause you have card info, this is plain stealing!!! Never use budget they are thieves!!!

Me and daughter was not told that we could it rent a car because my daughter was 20 years old. The customer service is bad here and this company needs more experience people.

The reviews about this location are correct Absolutely the worst place to rent your car from on Baltimore ave laurel md . The so called "manager" Tanshia i think is unprofessional and doesn't know what she's doing , hung up on me when i tried asking for pricing while waiting and asked about the car cleanliness before i got it bc it was coming directly from the previous driver. I rented a car almost 2 months in advance and the day of my reservation and time pick up no cars were available for me . I ended up trying to be patient and said ok I'll wait a little for someone to return a car i guess i have no choice. 5 hours went by and no cars arrived. By that time it was time for them to close and i had to leave for a trip . So i had no car . My car was set to pick up at 10:00am no communication was made to me until i kept going back for the inconvenience. It ended up being 4pm and she said no cars would be available.

I made reservations for a vehicle when I get there he say that he is out of vehicles. Huh? But the website says available ! Wow! Worst place I’ve ever been . So I have to spend another $20 for Uber to get to get home. Never coming here again

I received a car with mechanical issues. No walk around was done at All. I was just given keys in the office and sent on my way. I picked the car up at 5pm and it was too late to turn it back in so I had to drive it until budget opened. I had to go to 4 different budget locations to try to trade this faulty car in...Wasted about 2 hrs of my time! For compensation I was offered $30 coupon off next rental...Really. from what I just went through budget will not be my choice of car rental. Enterprise is next for me.

The store opens up at 8 am Trishana Haynes Came at 8:10 She dint care that she was late very nonchalant when questioned on why she was late very unprofessional !!!!!!!we were told on the phone that all we had to do was put our deposit down and drive off I got there and was told about a credit check even though their website says that if you use a credit card there will be none of that plus when I got there it was an additional 27$ a day just because I was under the age of 25 none of this was explained on the phone very shady business do not go here and waste your time she even had her own child cleaning out cars how professional is that they business needs to be closed down and she needs to be fired.

If it wasn't for the discount I had received through Costco, I would have rented else where. I received the car, the car had not been cleaned. The back seats were not vacuumed. Crumbs were all over the seats. On return I waited inside for 15 minutes until anyone came back into the store to help me. I would not recommend

If it wasn't for the fact that I rented through Costco and received a good price, It would only be one star. The car was reserved, yet the person had to go out and vacuum the car and wash the windshield.Sort of. The inside of the windshield had the remanence of an exploding soda in which I had to get Windex and clean. The car had an idiot light saying it needed maintenance.

Don't like leaving this review but it has to be said so someone can do something about the employee that works there. She never arrives on time! The store hours says it opens at 8:00AM, but she arrives at 8:20AM, this has happens all the time. That is just plain irresponsible.

I had a reservation to move our home with a 26' truck with budget, placed two months in advance. The night before I was to pick up the truck, the Budget of Laurel office called me and told me they did not have a truck available for me because they just got the notification in their system. 12 HOURS BEFORE I AM SUPPOSED TO MOVE. This place has the worst business practice I've seen. All of the bad reviews are not exceptions, it is their standard of service. Thankfully I was able to get a truck with Penske on short notice, they were very accommodating for less than $100 more than I was going to pay with Budget. Do not waste your money or time with this sham.

Just like all the other horrible stories sadly this is same results in my case. Moving to back to Florida book my reservation with a car tow on may 15 out of the laurel location. For some odd reason, it didn't show a car dolly. After 60hrs of back and forth no results until 1 hr before it's time for me to pick the truck up, went to the counter and the wouldn't take my ID even stated that I have renew receipt and still refused to and it was up to the Area manager Ruben to make the decision and decided to ruin my trip and my birthday as well thank you all at budget for making easy for no one but yourselves. This is why opportunities are limited for your company for the competitive rental business. By the way I been on hold from customer care for an 1hr.
