I was immediately greeted and added to a queue. The wait was longer than anticipated. However, G was thorough in their explaining options so that I could make an informed decision on a larger purchase. The kids enjoyed looking at Legos and tv’s.

Purchased a laptop that was in “demo user” setting from Townson Best But Location. Was recommended to go to Laurel Best Buy for the solution and repair by Geek Squad after talking with them via phone for 57 mins. The Supervisor and staff are difficult, have poor customer service skills, and not helpful at all. No one seemed to have any clue about the administration user name and password to complete a factory reset. Hoping another store or another department can better assist.
I recommend never making purchase at the Laurel and Townson locations BestBuy locations.

This Best Buy is poorly managed and they are a deceitful group of young people. What is the purpose of having Geek Squad if they can’t do repairs or make a decision on the premises as to whether or not an item can be fixed (never bothered to check item). Not to mention, in order to submit an item for repair they lie and categorize the repair incorrectly.

The staff are very considerate. I had a problem with my cell phone, and a staff member of the Geek Squad fixed it. I recommend the Geek Squad at Best Buy.
