I was con by the mgr at Laurel att store and my bills sky rocketed. The magt was devious. I am very frustrated and I felt the con game was unnecessary.

I can’t leave a complaint with corporate because the Laurel location is franchised, so I’ve been prompted to leave a genuine review for this location instead. If you’re gonna buy AT&T products, I recommend you shop online, or the corporate location in Columbia. Buying from here is equivalent to buying from a car salesman. They will misinform you simply for the sales!In mid December, I bought an iPad 9th Gen directly from this location. I went back a couple days later to exchange it for a better one. The manager, Bankol, told me they were 86 the iPad Pro 4th gen. He said I’d have to wait to get it in the mail, at which point I would receive a shipping label to return the 9th Gen. Bankol also claimed, from the date I receive the Pro, I would have 2 weeks to return the 9th Gen.I received the Pro in the mail 12/26/23, except, I was missing a shipping label. I went back to have Bankol for help. He directed me to call customer service, who supposedly would send one to my email. I came home and called customer service, who directed me to go back to the store because I was (now) outside the 14 day return policy. I go back to the store, and Bankol directs me, again, to call customer service. (Don’t you like being spun in circles?)Fast forward, I get ahold of the loyalty department! They made everything make sense. Bankol didn’t initiate a buyer’s remorse exchange… he cunningly added another LINE! Not only does this mean I was charged another $40 for activation somewhere, but I was also never “supposed” to receive a shipping label. I see, now, that I’ve also been charged $17 for line protection, a part of the plan I never mentioned or requested.Note to Bankol; Thank you! Thanks for the perplexing situation, wasting my time, and for misrepresenting AT&T. Thank you for putting me on a back burner in an inconvenient attempt to doom me with an iPad & line I don’t want or need.. this was all a Very low attempt to wash your own hands clean. I hope you’re held accountable for this deceitful and unpleasant sales experience.*****Loyalty and corporate have both expressed their concerns with this happening to many AT&T consumers, specifically at franchise locations. Thanks to the corporate location in Columbia, everything has been made right!*****

Store rep replaced insurance on my account without authorization/asking me, which caused me to lose my previous insurance in which I was grandfathered into. Not happy and a dispute has been filed.

The manager banky scammed MY account and then acts like he doesn't know what he did. I canceled a line and then look again and it's another line, ans fbey charged me full price for the phone and wont refund. This is the worst experience and service I ever had.

Lauryn was extremely helpful and attentive while getting new phone purchased and set up. The manager Banky was terrible and was sitting down making the other employees multitask by helping multiple customers at once. Did not greet anyone.
