I can only speak for me and my experience.I’ve had and currently have a positive experience. My apartment size is perfect, offering spacious living areas that make it truly feel like home. The amenities provided within the apartment exceed expectations, providing both comfort and convenience. Morgan & MaryAlice, the office staff is friendly, responsive, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or concerns.Additionally, Dre, the maintenance manager is prompt and efficient, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly and timely.Inside unit: Granite Counter, Stainless Steel Appliances (Refrigerator & Stove), Nice Kitchen Cabinets, and full size Washer & Dryer.

If I could rate this property a zero stars, I would! PSA to all, reviews matter especially if more than a handful of people are saying the same thing. Glad I rescinded my application before I moved in. I lost $200 in holding fee, but I ultimately saved myself from heartache and stress; however, the battle to get my security deposit back was a struggle!! It wasn't until I mentioned I would report them to the attorney general then I got my money back. Never have I experienced such unprofessionalism and terrible customer service.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Everything is terrible here. It’s like they rent to the most irresponsible people they could possibly find. Packages are always stolen so don’t expect to comfortably wait in your home when the mailman comes. You literally have to wait in the mail room as he unloads so you can get to your packages before the thieves do. Oh and if your package is missing, the rental office does absolutely nothing. They don’t care about anything. If something is broken in your unit, it will take forever to fix and they never give you brand new appliances, they’re always old ones from vacant units. The maintenance personnel is very nice but it’s only one person to the whole building so nothing ever gets done on time or up to standard. The middle schoolers and highschoolers are completely irresponsible and sketchy. People smoke weed in the stairwell or in their units so you can smell it in the hallway..People leave trash in random places in the building. The parking is HORRENDOUS. TERRIBLE!!! The management does absolutely nothing about complaints and they are completely useless. Don’t even bother counting on the cameras in the building. I’m not even sure they work This place is NO WHERE NEAR LUXURY. We have nothing here. An old gym with only a few machines and some of them are broken and most of the dumbbells have been stolen by thieves. This place is a JOKE!! The pool table room is never open and the table is old with some of the balls cracked. Sometimes I forget I’m in Howard county. This place is turning into a section 8 housing facility. Do NOT move here!!!

Ashbury Courts apartment is terrible & fake luxury why would I want to stay here any longer to get treated bad & deal with all this unprofessionalism & continue to live in the slums, residents leave dog $hit the hallways, residents park in our parking spot that we pay for & you guys do not do anything when we complain about it we can’t even get a car towed out of a parking spot that we rightfully pay for monthly & you have a sign that clearly states you tow unauthorized vehicles, the elevator stays broken we’ve had to take the stairs multiple times going up & down even late at night, theres no emergency maintenance, theres no security, you guys do not pick up the trash a service that we pay $37 for monthly which is far more than I’ve ever paid before just for the trash to sit in the hallway for days & when we ask about it you guys ignore us this has happened on multiple occasions causing rodent & pest in & around building & the dumpster stay filled to top, the police stay over here so my wife feels completely unsafe, residents walk around with guns hanging out their pockets, cars getting broken into & left on bricks there is completely no security, random calls from intruders trying to enter the building, I can’t even get a package delivered to this address without it getting stolen you have to put camera on your door just to make sure it doesn’t get stolen, I had to come home multiple nights & can’t even get into the parking lot because it’s filled with people lined up blocking spots trying to pick up there kids. The sink & tub continues to get clogged up which I have fixed myself multiple times before as well. Residents don’t put a leash on their dog the other day someone two doors down from me dog ran in my apartment. Residents smoke in the stairwell & it smells like urine in there. If I wanted to be in the ghetto I could go there & pay far less $1700+ for this treatment at this property is extremely unacceptable. Management needs to better job & take care of their residents This the worst place I lived at in Laurel & I lived in Laurel majority of my life & I’ve never experienced this kind of treatment or dirtiness from no place I lived at before. Update we moved. I wrote this review while still living there. These people still want money from me after this horrible treatment. Not only that they lied & told the mailman that I moved basically a month before I actually did move which put me in another bad situation because I was supposed to receive a very important documentation in the mail from the government that I have yet to receive. I told Lisa about this situation & provided proof to her a number of times and what did she do nothing at all. I even sent video evidence of the mailman telling me exactly what happened & who told him that I moved. All she did was ignore me & change the mailbox key even after I informed her that I would bring it back later this week because I just wanted to make sure that I receive the document I was waiting on. Also the employee that the mailman said did all this doesn’t even work in the leasing office but apparently all my emails that I sent to Lisa were read to him by another employee who does work in the leasing office. All I gotta say is RUN don’t ever move here. The hood got better spots than this no amenity dusty building. I think management is worst of all things because you can fix up a building but you can’t fix people & their nasty attitudes. They clearly don’t care about black people (Mary) or (Lisa) which is why the lady (Mary) in the back is always hiding. Go spend your hard earned money somewhere else!

Do not move here. The rent is ridiculous and you get absolutely nothing for your money. There are no amenities, the walls are paper thin and on top of that, there is no security protocol for if your packages are stolen. We have had 3 packages stolen, no matter if we ask the delivery driver to deliver packages to our door they don't have time to and leave them in the unattended and unsecured mailroom where people steal packages. Ask the leasing office for help and they do nothing... They are putting money into renovating the hallways and light fixtures but cannot put a security camera in the mailroom. Also, our water heater broke and flooded our apartment. The ONLY good thing about this apartment is the maintenance man. He works hard, but trying to get help from the front desk is difficult when anything major happens. We only lived here a year and things just kept going down hill. You are literally wasting your money moving here.

Somebody here is stealing packages and management is doing nothing it. When I told management they informed me that the cameras don’t even work. So no accountability about anything going on in the lobby. I don’t understand why I’ve had at least 5 packages stolen out of the mail room. Either people can’t read their own name or someone is purposely stealing packages.

I have been living at this property for a little over a year and since new management has taken over (Pinnacle property) things have taken a turn for the worse. Our call box has been broken for over 2 months now. I address this with the property manager (Mary) the first week it was broken and she promised that a ticket was put in to have it fixed. Fast forward two month, and the call box is still not working. When I looked outside on Saturday morning I saw an ambulance and fire department outside the building trying to access the front door. They were unable to do so. This is extremely alarming to me as a resident because God forbid something happens to me or any of the other residents and we need medical attention right away. I expressed my concerns about this with Mary this morning and she replied “Would you like to break your lease?” No wonder why there is so many reviews about her specifically. I’ve never dealt with this level of unprofessionalism and it’s astounds me that she still has a job doing anything in customer service. She does not know how to speak with residents and is very condescending. Now I’m doing everything in my power to make sure myself and my fellow residence know about our rights and to confirm everything is being addressed properly and in a timely manner.To make matter worse I have reached out to the Vice President of this company (Lisa) on several occasions and she has not responded to me.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY RENTING A APARTMENT HERE!!

The worst thing about this property is the head Manager! She is extremely rude, arrogant, and I'm sure this is most of the reason for 2.6 rating! Again the Manager is terrible and if the company wants best for that property fire her.

Stay the hell away from this expensive so called ghetto bougie un forsaken complex. Donaldson group is corrupt. How they deal with tenants is very unsavory.Don’t ever owe these foul people money. We’ve reached out on several occasions to settle our disputes on record. None to avail.They will garnish your wages, put liens on you and your bank accounts. Even when you try to rectify the situation their not just.People you have been warned.We will provide an update in due time.

Beautiful spacious apartment! Nice amenities as well.The leasing manager BRITTANY JENKINS and her assistant were very helpful and responsive. They went the extra mile to help. My move in was SO SMOOTH ! I don’t know how I would’ve done it without them.UPDATE 12/22/22:My previous review was when gates Hudson owned this property! The new management is completely unrealistic, unprofessional, inconsistent and GHETTO! This is not a luxury building. These apartments are not worth the price or the hassle. They make new changes all the time and fail to notify or include the tenants on everything. Not to mention PACKAGES ARE STOLEN ON A DAILY !!! In the mail room or in front of your door. Start buying your own cameras if you are moving in to this building.I previously had a refrigerator issue.I had to wait three months for a new refrigerator! All my food had went bad my apartment had a terrible smell, which took weeks to get out. I had to buy take out for 3 months ! The replacement fridge came and it was the smallest thing with no freezer and then they finally replaced it again after 3 months and credited me 200! for the food that went bad. Which wasn’t worth it nor was it equivalent to the amount of money I had to spend on take out.
