On a hot sunny day this place was like an oasis to me. Not only was the front desk employee cool as heck (Brea I think was her name) so was the inside of this futuristic cool dispensary. Instant member!

Went by last night to get something an hour before they closed at about 8pm, doors were locked up tight and employee sat out front. Tried to go in but door was locked. I looked around for a bit nobody inside or at desk to unlock door either. I had gone to the crofton location a few weeks prior, had a great experience, but I will not be going back to this location due to poor experience

First time here! Bri and Carrington (spelling) were very helpful and nice. I was skeptical at first based on the reviews, however my experience was pleasant. The young lady at the front was nice as well.

Very disappointed with them. The guy at the front desk very rude. I have Use ascend all the time in New Jersey. I cane To this one thinking i would Have the same experience but that’s not the case. I tried To order online system was down and the guy refuse to let us order. They closed at 9 and refuse to let anyone in after 8:45. I wont Ever come back to this establishment

I was cursed out by some dumb girl who didn’t even realize I could hear her as she didn’t push the hold button. After I told her I heard her, she hung up on me. LOL! She should be working at McDonalds. But I’ll pray for her - to be that angry toward a nice customer for no reason is really sad. I bet she calls herself a Christian too LOL. Joke.

I had a very hostile experience while picking up a pre-order from the ascend Laurel location on June 9, 2024 from 12:25 PM to 12:40 PM.
The associate's name is Bria and she was working the front desk, checking IDs during this time. I walked into the store on a phone call. I put my ID in the slot and then was asked if I had a pre-order, to which I answered yes. The associate Bria then asked me 2-3 more times, and I answered yes again. Then she started yelling at the top of her lungs saying "there's a pre-order." She was yelling facing the back so I was assuming the walkie-talkie was broken and she was notifying them I was coming back. Then she picked up the walkie-talkie (now I understand she was yelling at me and it was actually not broken) and starts saying that there's a problem with a customer at the front. The person who was on the phone with was asking me, "what's the problem, why is she yelling, weren't you just answering her yes" they heard everything.
The "supervisor" then comes out and tells me to come inside the store. I asked the associate that was checking me out for a manager. Then the girl who told me to come to the back, comes out to speak with me. I am expecting the manager to try to rectify the situation or help me in someway maybe give me points off for my negative experience, anything at this point. The "supervisor" proceeds to tell me that the associate Bria "was mad because I came in on my phone and I did not greet her." She continued to tell me that "her associates don't act like that for no reason." I then asked this "supervisor" for the corporate number to call and she gave me the number to a dispensary in Chicago, not the general inquiries number. That being said, I feel that this supervisor was not helpful and more training is needed, especially in customer service.
This is absolutely absurd to me as I am a loyalty/rewards member with Ascend since June 2023 and I come to the store at least once a week. Even the location in Elliott City. I have never had a negative encounter or experience with any associate at or any issues at all at either location. I feel very irritated with the situation and how the situation was handled. To be very blunt, as a customer I don't have to greet anyone. I gave you my ID and answered your ask question.
The cameras can be checked, and whatever investigation needs to happen should happen. I do not feel the associate Bria should be employed there or in any position where she has to deal with customers.
As I stated, I am rewards member and recurring customer. I feel very aggravated and unappreciated that I spend my money at the dispensary loyally to be treated this nasty and rude. I could have handled the situation in a VERY negative way, but since I have self-control, I'm choosing to file a complaint. If this is how the company allows their stores to operate, I do not believe I will be returning to this dispensary, or any Ascend location for that matter, because of this encounter and how it was handled by the "supervisor."

Customer service is trash. They force you to put all orders online when sometimes people have questions. Have tried to purchase from the 3 times and each time the are not helpful at all and selection of products is slim.
