Ahmed is a true professional and very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the service he’s performing and answer any question we have. Always leaves stating if we have any questions, concerns or have any pest issues between services to just give him a call.He reaches out to us prior to the service date to ensure we’re still available for the appointment, which is very helpful as well as being able to track his arrival so we’re ready for the service.I trust Ahmed with all our Terminix services and appreciate his friendliness during the appointment!

They have been giving a runaround when I called multiple times to request the cancellation of service beginning 2024. I called on 11/16 (46 days lead time before 2024) and spoke with an agent with their Cancellation Dept to cancel my service. I was told I would receive an email confirmation to cancel my service in 2024. On 11/27, I called again and their customer service dept agent said she would email their Cancellation Dept about my inquiry. Today (12/4), I still haven't received an email confirmation to cancel service effective 2024. They left me no choice but to submit a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.

Mediocre company that has deteriorated in the past year. I scheduled a visit. No one showed up. When I called the number, I was told that I was mistakenly assigned to a technician who serviced the suburbs. I rescheduled, again no show. Now I had been assigned to a technician who serviced a different quadrant of DC. After wasting an hour on the phone, connected to a manager who, after 12 hours, is still 'looking into it'. No response!

I had an appointment scheduled for 3:00 - 5:00 pm today. I was at lunch and came home at 2:02 pm and I see a note on my door from Vernon Darkins saying “Sorry I missed you.” I’m thinking this person can’t tell time or something because my appointment is from 3:00 - 5:00 pm. I call the number on the sticky on my door and of course he does not answer. I text him a time the appointment is. He responds stating I was in the area when I came by. I can’t come between 3:00 - 5:00 pm. I’m like this is appointment that I set up. If you couldn’t do the time of the appointment, you should not have taken the job. This is what I call unacceptable behavior and a lack of professional.I call Terminix and someone says they will let Mike know, since he’s the manager of Vernon. She also states Mike will call me today. No call or response as expected. I’m not sure who made Mike a manager, but he’s terrible at communication.I called again at 3:38 pm and spoke to a lady who said she was calling the dispatch group. She said they will send someone and they will be here at 4:30 pm. She then tells me “I promise.”At 5:04 pm, I called back because she lied. No one showed up. I didn’t receive any calls or anything. I spoke to Sue this time. I’m starting to think write down names of the people that I speak to because everyone seems to lie at Terminix, but yet they drafted the payment out of my account. Sue apologizes and said that Carlos Daly will call me tomorrow. I ask how is that happening me today for my appointment between 3:00 - 5:00 pm. I also told her I didn’t believe her because there are a bunch of liars and unprofessional technicians at Terminix. She said he will contact me. Then, she asked me to do a survey on her service. Terminix as a whole get a poor if they want an honest and truthful rating.I am looking for other companies that can provide this service since these people at Terminix now have no idea of customer service, communication, professional and integrity!!!

My Terminix Technician is Carl Ross. He comes to our home every three months and is very polite, professional and thorough. We look forward in seeing him every three months. Keep up the good work, Mr. Ross.Services: General pest inspection

Beware, you may be paying for service and NOT actually receiving them. Even better, customer service & management assistance is pretty much nonexistent. I tried reaching out to this company MULTIPLE times without success. I was charged for a mosquito treatment service, to which the technician did not actually treat my lawn. Oddly enough, the representatives answering the phones have little to no authority to correct any issues. I have received several apologies with false promises of someone else reaching out to me in the future. Meanwhile, you can believe I was charged full price for services not rendered.I was told I'd receive a $42 credit for previous billing/service issues; that did not happen.I was told the technician would return the same day; that did not happen.I was told a supervisor would contact me within 48 hours; that did not happen.The icing on the cake, while the last representative could not assist me with a refund, nor immediate service, she did try to sell me an additional service.Unless you have home security to verify services are actually bring rendered, Do Not trust the integrity of this company.If you dont mind paying for services & receiving none; by all means, sign up with Terminix.Service: Mosquito extermination

The technician is always helpful and contacts us in advance of his visit to our home. He asks questions about our needs before and after he completes his work and explains clearly what he did, what he found and next treatment.Services: Hornet & wasp extermination

I hope I can save someone the money, time, and headache I wasted on this Terminix branch. I had 8 (EIGHT!) no-shows, no calls last month. Spent countless hours trying to get someone to let me know what was happening and they never had the courtesy to get back to me despite countless promises that I would get a call within 24 to 48 hours. I have never encountered worse service. Had to cancel an upcoming service agreement because they cannot be trusted to provide the bare minimum of service or customer service.

Very professional technician and customer service. They explained everything I needed to know before the service , during and after the treatment. The technician texted me to let me know the exact time she would arrive, I could even track the car so no surprises and having to stop whatever you’re doing at the moment. I can finally have peace of mind knowing who to call if pests ever come back. I would recommend this company. They definitely are the best.Services: Home inspection

I’m not usually one to write negative reviews, but I was very disappointed recently. I cancelled my service through an agent on the main Terminix number (found a local company that does a better job), yet they still sent out a tech and charged me for it, even when I specifically asked if the upcoming appointment would be cancelled. The tech has been courteous for 3 years of service and the effectiveness has been decent. Just frustrating customer service can’t be trusted to fulfill a request!

I’m actually disappointed that I have to write this review, but here we are. I booked for 4 pest treatments. The tech came an hour and a half late after the window for the inspection. The initial treatment, he was over an hour late after the window. I booked another treatment for today between 10-12, and of course, no call no show. I called customer service and the rep stated she could not contact the tech and basically told me to wait for a call. What? How am I supposed to plan my day or prepare my house for treatment if I don’t even know when he’s coming? I wouldn’t even mind him being late if someone would communicate that to me. This will be my last service with Terminix and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Terminix hires awesome people! They are professional, considerate, and on time! My home is pest free, except for the occasional fly, and I couldn't be more pleased!!!

What should I say about this company. If I had a minus 5 (-5) I wouldwrite it without hesitation. Worst company, worst technician, worst customer service.The CEO should fire himself / herself. For sure none of the, know how to run their company. They service my apartment in Washington DC for rodent problem 1 day ago (never had this issue before) assuring that there will be no rodent. 24 hrs later they are back. Now when I called them for reservice. They are giving me 3-4 days spread. They charged $150 for the service and the service performed is not even worth $1.50. What a shame. I plan to lodge a complaint with Consumer Protection Board (Even they don't pay attention to general public). The whole agency only supports Lobbyist. The whole agency is a joke but will still lodge a complaint. What a joke with Terminix and CPB.
