Please beware! If you want your taxes done and completed, do NOT I repeat do NOT go here. The staff and even him will NOT respond to you!! They will NOT honor your appointment. They will NOT answer the door and barely answer the phone. He's cheap, but being cheap shouldn't make them do business like this. I would rather pay someone double than deal with this nonsense. It will stress you out and break you down. We ended up paying a fee for being late to pay with the IRS last year because Roy's staff and him never told us how much we owed or even mailed back our papers to us plus fee for a correction IRS had to correct. We kept calling and drove an hour so we could catch them off guard to open the door to give us our papers. Never opened the door, and we know they were in there. To be honest, the bad service has been going on for years, but this was the worst, and it's been getting worse each year. They make excuses up, and then you feel bad and are relieved it's just done, but then it happens again and again. Don't fall for the excuse like we and many others did. Go to a more professional company, even if it's more. I wish we did.

This is not a professional business, dropped my taxes off on March 1, 2021. I have email and called Roy and haven’t gotten NO response. I even emailed him to arrange to pick up my paperwork and got no answer. So I’m clueless about if he even filed my taxes. Something has to be done about this. I will not be going back to get my taxes done here again!!!

Mr. Mitchell is very unprofessional I scheduled an appointment with him on 3/26/20. Arrive at his business and their were no one there. I made several calls and sent emails no response. I'm so tired of using these unprofessional people s they want your money, but don't wanted work. And ypu wonder why African American don't support each other. I'm done!!!!

Roy is very professional. All of these lies. He does not need all of these bad reviews. All u people come back every year to see this man because he is the best. I have seen Roy for 15 year and he is a god. Please stop bashing him.

This is not a professional business. I've been going to Roy for years and for the last 4 years his customer service has been HORRIBLE. Each and every year he pulls the "I'm sick" card on his clients because he gets overwhelmed with the amount of work. He refuses to get adequate help. How can one person handle 1800 clients? Having up to 15 people with the same appointment times, having clients wait up to 6 hours to be seen, leaving notes on the door when he can't make it instead of calling to reschedule. You have to pop up because no one ever answers the phone or return calls. Got to the point where his clients start getting each others numbers to see what the status of his shenanigans are each year. It's beyond ridiculous. He is no longer at the location listed.

This is NOT a Professional tax business!!! I have to agree with all the negative comments! I was given an appointment last year for this year, but I cannot get anyone on the phone to verify my appointment. He sent out some kind of paperwork in December via email that expired in 48 hours. Of course I saw it after the 48 hour period, needless to say, I cannot get a hold of him to find out what the paperwork was. I will Definitely be looking else where for a PROFESSIONAL tax preparer to do my taxes!!!

I had 4 of Roy's clients come to me today to get their taxes done and I had to turn them all away. This guy is throwing any and everything on your tax returns. You pay him in cash as not to have his income traced and you sign it under penalty of perjury stating everything is correct. The guy was giving a elderly retired coupled Unreimbursed employee business expenses.....THEY ARE RETIRED. These people prey on greedy and unsuspecting people trying to get a BIG refund whose exemptions were high all year. Pretty soon the IRS is going to run his EFIN for fraud and ALL of his clients will get correspondence audits then he REALLY is going to stop answering calls. Buyers beware.

My return papers were left with him at the end of February of this year. They were not done until April 29th. Individuals were camping outside of his home worried about if they were going to be filed on time. Appointments mean absolutely nothing and I now have to pay another $80 to a different preparer because he did not add my medical to the Paserwork. I gave information(medical papers) to him because it was at the back where he staples all items used to file. If he's not answering the phone because he is sick again, sorry but someone else needs to answer or make the recording something to that affect so someone can know what is going on.
