βI haven't been to Shopper's in a very long time. I had to make a quick stop. I'm super glad that I did. I ran into sister/friend. The store had exactly what I came to get.β
βSo this is my first ever Trader Joe's experience this year. ? All thanks to my UMD classmates. This is the only location I've been to. There is validated parking, the store looks clean, sometimes a little crowded, but it's at College Park so I'm not surprised. These kids need to eat. The prices are fair. The variety of foods is what I love. Lots of International type foods such as a variety of Asian delicacies. Their frozen food definitely surprised me. The ones I picked were amazing. Being a Grad student, working full-time, having a internship, full-time parent of a teenager, yes all of this is why Trader Joe's have gotten 1 more new customer. ? Made my life a little easier in times of chaos. The wings and the Thai red curry are my favs so far.β
βI only come here once in a while since theyβre overpriced. People here are really helpful and friendly though really slow. They have stuff like vegan milk, vegan cheese, vegan ice cream, and vegan burgers. They have some interesting stuff like vegan fish or shrimp although I never tried them since they are quite expensive.β
βThis MOM'S Market does not have a food counter, but plenty of vegan choices on the shelves and in the refrigerated area. Pre-made meals like lasagna and salads, beverages (including a coffee area), bulk items. A great place to stock up on kitchen staples.β
βI go every Friday. I am off work. I've always been an Italian Cold Cut, but I just started getting the salads. Delicious food, and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICEShared my sandwich with my supervisor, and now he's hooked!!!!β
βOnly place in the area I've been able to find tamarind sauce (specifically sauce, not chutney)! Wish I'd checked here before ordering some from the UK. Helpful and polite staff. Small store but good selection, especially of spices and dried fruits. I wasn't buying meat so I can't comment on that.β
βThey kicked my friend and I out for taking to long but he was tryna buy groceries and I was not about to spend all of my money in an expensive market. Other than the "Hold Up" the store was pretty nice. A variety selection of snacks and they take EBTβ
βI used to love this place, but the prices are through the roof. Still, some items are cheaper than buying on Amazon. It still provides dairy products that are NOT offered anywhere else, and is a cut above other health food stores. But too many times the items I go there to get are sold out. We rely on it for dairy. Has lots of pasture raised products. Two bags of groceries can easily run $200.β
βAlways great customer service. They consistently have a good stock of new and popular products. Never had to worry about lower grade or fake vapes coming here, like other shops around here.β
βThis market does exist and the staff are very nice and friendly. The entrance to the market is on the back side of the building, BEHIND the hair braiding business. I highly recommend visiting the store.β
βThanks for stocking the Alaskan sockeye salmon! Love the okra this summer! Please consider stocking lower sodium cottage cheese (or any cottage cheese as it's been out lately) Downside is higher prices if you don't use the app, which I don't :(β
βGreat local grocery store that is a real throwback in an era of only chain supermarkets. Staff really get to know the customers and you can get some great deals if you go in open to cooking whatever the sales are. Incredible wine department for a small store!β
βIβve been coming here lately for the fresh fish! They have a large variety and theyβll cut/gut it how you like it. You can find almost any international cooking ingredient here. Iβm looking forward to cooking a different cultural dish maybe 1-2x a month and I will come here to get everything that Iβll need.β
βThis location seems to offer a good balance between location, ambiance and service. Parking was plentiful, employees were pleasant and helpful, inventory was clean and fresh. I went there to use the Amazon return desk and ended up staying to enjoy the totally wonderful eclectic marketplace.β

βThis was one of my favorite spots pre covid. It's still nice, but it's lost some of it's appeal and luster.
I loved the poke bowls and crunchy shrimp roll, they nolonger have those. I used to love the soda machine making my own flavors like peach and raspberry sprite and cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper, or just lemon dasani.
They were the best, now they are just ok. The grocery part of the store, is still awesome. They have a lot of asian ingredients things I can't find anywhere else. And I love their fresh pressed juices, especially fugi apple juice. The basting oil is an essential component to my cooking in my kitchen. It pairs so well with seafood.
Gotta love Wegman'sβ

βAldis always has something extra that makes the trip worthwhile. Competitively priced organic produce, bags of nuts, trail mix, cheese, milk, bread etcβ¦ lots of frozen foods that you donβt normally find at walmart or other grocery stores. Itβs nice to have some different options for those busy days when you donβt feel like cooking. Also an ever changing collection of Kitchen gadgets, pet toys, decor, kids toys, sweaters, leggings, you just never know what you might find. Iβve been pretty pleased a couple of times with what I was able to get at a great price. Often it was the perfect gift for a friend. Anyway, I always enjoy shopping at Aldis. One thing though, I never have a quarter for the shopping cart so I usually limit my shopping to whatever I can carry in a bag or two.β
βI went for some gallon alkaline water, and this location had plenty of stalk. I'm very happy with having this option locally. Usually I have to travel to the DC area or Virginia for gallon options.β

βI love Aldiβs ! I especially love the ones far out Va or Maryland because itβs fresher and cheaper in my opinion. The ones in dc are a bit ran through, also the ones in other parts of Maryland, so i suggest you really read reviews and check starsβ

βAll these is one of my favorite stores unfortunately there was a very sarcastic cashier that I met up with the last time I was there but I can say there was a very nice Prince George's County Police on dutyβ
βA Clean shop- likes that it has no foul odor! Good customer service; has better pricing on roast & fresh fowls -chicken, fufu box. Has very good selection of afro-foods; meat; & condiments.β
βMeat Market is a great place to shop. As one of their vendors, I can say they take safety and quality of products very seriously. You won't regret shopping here. Happy shopping y'all.β
βI like Giant and the ranges of products they sell. Friendly staff. (Thank you Audrey).
Nevertheless at the time of writing Giant need to be more price competitive.
Basic foodstuffs seem comparatively expensive. e.g. bread, baked beans etc.
Some candy very good value for money.
Watch unit costs on all items.
Several large quantity items are sold at a higher unit cost than smaller quantities including some of the candy.
Everything available but shelf stocks in all local grocery stores (not just Giant) are still not as high as pre-covid.β
βYou have to get groceries before Saturday afternoon... Saturdays after 10 is congested and checking out takes a long time. By Sunday - Monday the shelves are nearly empty for basic food items.
The earlier in the morning you go, the more pleasant the shopping experience isβ

βFirst time in here and I must say they have some of the best customer service I had in a long time at a store like this one .. clean.. and great workers that greet you of love and respect this is a place you must tryβ
βI'm not local, but spend many weeks a year in Bowie MD, and this store has surpassed all the other groceries for me in the area. Staff is outstanding, produce is fresh with lots of variety. My Kroger plus card works there.β
βThis Giant store is what you call βtop dawgβ. The products here are plentiful and they always have what I need. They have a deli and a seafood area where you can buy a lot of fresh stuff. The pharmacy here is really good. But the prices are absolutely horrendous. Giant is so expensive and they claim to have low prices. Also the receipts are sooo long! I get one thing and the receipt is 8 inches!! (I measured it).β
βFood is really good! Great portions and low price. I never knew this little spot was right here. My bf ate his steak and cheese so fast, I didnβt get a picture lolβ
βso far, I'm quite satisfied with shopping at this location. Place is clean, generally quite organized. Fresh pastries and croissants. Prices are one of the best you can find. Some people have left bad reviews because of poor interaction with some of the staff? I haven't had any such interactions.β
βThe workers, doing the assigned Job took care to servicing the customers, per individuals. Some were unhappy workers taking on the demand of both the customers and the assigned manager or boss. Some workers left due to their work schedule and much added pressure. Service with a smile could have many reasons.β
βLast two visits have been great! It turns out that the woman who checked me out likes the same donut that I do; it is only delivered on Sunday. I had to run back and get donuts and now look forward to my Sunday stop.β
