Absolutely disappointing experience at the Woodmore location. I particularly searched out and selected this location based on convenience and safety concern only to be met with a high level of cancelation, poor customer service, inflexible and rigid policies, even in the face of under delivery of services and inefficient management of the location. The supervisors are quick to remind you of the supply and demand imbalance in the massage industry and the penalty for canceling your membership before maturity. I joined in July of 2023 and to date it is almost impossible to secure a consistent appointment that accommodates a professional lifestyle. I religiously call every month on the first, which is when the books open for booking, only to be told that they are no availability on weekends, or after 5 PM on weekdays because the specialist work schedule have not yet been submitted. I’m basically paying a monthly membership fee with no access to service. I certainly will not recommend this location and only wish I was able to cancel my membership immediately without repercussion.

Sorely disappointed in the number of cancelations and the front desk staff including the Asst Supervisor Janelle who expressed no apologies for the inconvenience they caused me. She acted like she was doing me a favor but I pay for these services every month. Also the last time I went the bathrooms were dirty especially the floor and toilet. Please do better job with the bathrooms.This is frustrating when you change your schedule make an appt and to be constantly canceled and this time no one told me. This is closer to me but the services are not good. I am waiting for a manager to call me back. I will say Monique the other Asst Supervisor was customer friendly with one if the cancelations. I see why the reviews are not good. They don't treat the people right.

This Hass to be the worst massage envy location. I had an appointment booked with them two appointments booked with them and they canceled them the managers lied and said they gave me a call and left voicemails which neither were true. The lady didn’t answer the phone presented me no solutions for my issue. I will never go to this massage envy

Terrible experience at this location. Someone booked an appointment on my wife's behalf. It was never confirmed and my wife had no idea what time the appointment was. Once she found out, she called to cancel. They charged a $65 no show fee and charged my wife's credit card on file...even though my wife never even made the appointment! If someone else calls and has your phone number, even if you are unaware, they will charge your card so long as it is on file. When I explained the situation, all they did was repeat the no show policy and that there was nothing they could do. If I lied and said it was a medical emergency, they wouldn't have charged anything. Because I was honest and explained someone else booked the appointment without confirming a time with my wife, the manager refused to budge. Any manager who wanted to keep a customer would show some discretion and credit our card back. HORRIBLE customer experience and dishonest to use our card on file without our permission.

I was recommend massage envy by my sisters who are members with massage envy. However, my experience at this specific location was not pleasant. I arrived a few minutes late for my appointment and checked in with the staff. I was told to wait which I did for 30 mins. After waiting, I was told I would need to pay a late fee in which I paid for two sessions instead of one. I was shocked my the amount I had to pay for just a 30min session which was really only 25mins. Overall, I was super disappointed considering I always hear great things about massage envy. Personally, I will not be returning to this location as I did not appreciate the way this was handled.

BABY!!!! My esthetician AmberJoy is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING an a True JOY to experience.I have had many facials in my life, however this facial was transformative after a long stressful day. She washed my face. Hear me, she WASHED MY FACE, well.She is nothing I can say negative about her or the service she provided me. AMAZING FIVE STARS Experience.Kudos ? ? . AmberJoy, You did that, PERFECTLY!!! Thank you, this was the best facial of my life.PS: The front guest staff was absolutely great as well.

I enjoy my massage therapist Deandre but the management is horrible. There have been 2 occasions where my appointment was cancelled and without notification. On both occasions I was told that the district manager would get back to me but this never occurred. Management is making my experience worse. This is my 1st year and I will more than likely not be renewing.

I bought a BOGO 60 mins. massage cert. at the Lanham location. I used one at the College Park location and it wasn't that good. I finally booked one at the Lanham location & had to cancel session. The guy (she claimed they didn't have a guy but they did that day) took cert. so I asked for proof of cert. so I was given the gift card holder. He wrote $70 (70 points) instead of 60mins. massage. I booked another session & and when I called the night before I realized they didn't have me on the books so they cancelled. I booked another session & spoke to Gigi, Manager to make sure everything was settled. I saw Mendel (who didn't wear mask) today (3.21.23) in Lanham. She's not personable & was 15mins. late but her technique were good. I received a 50 mins massage. They claim 5 mins go to intake which I did on day 1 (only took 2 mins) and 5 mins go to removing clothes (only took 2 mins). I check out and I"m told by Gigi that I owe $10. Mind you I've already paid for cert. She brought over another woman and they claim the price went up since getting my cert. I was told they'd charge my card but card was expired. They asked for another card and I said I'm not paying more money so they said I'll be charged during my next visit. I told them that I was never coming back and I meant that.For 60 mins., I pay $60 at Advanced Health in Greenbelt (Cindy or Ping). They're not fancy but they are the bomb.Read the fine print, research/research/research this company because they are tricky. It's all about money but they had the right one today.Get it together Massage Envy!!!!!

I had hopes for this location but I just want out of this mess! I DO NOT RECOMMEND having a membership. They have issues with availability and now they've just raised to price. It's just messy, inconvenient and a hassle! I switched to this to be my home location and this was months ago. They're saying that it still hasn't happened and now they're just placing me on hold and avoiding me. I'm not being rude, just trying to get some answers

They are really good but never have available spot. They either have lot of customers and/or not enough employees. So, to me, the membership is not worthy. I will not renew mine.

When I first became a member the staff, location, services, and customer service was impeccable. Presently, the business has increased their monthly membership, the current staff lacks professionalism and proper reception skills, the services are weak, and so many therapist have left. Kamille and Erika are two amazing therapist, but for the past 4-5 months I haven't been able to schedule with them due to the lack of appointments and/or therapist. The business has changed tremendously and so have the franchise owners. Therefore, I happily spoke with the current manager and cancelled my membership. Time yo find a new spot and therapist. Hoping the ME business and location(s) can revamp and improve their services for members and potential members.
