Do not get your appliances at Home Depot. They send out appliances that have been packed damaged and do not want to exchange them or help you out. I received a dishwasher that had no damage to the outside box or the packaging and the door and inside were bent and they insisted I had to go through GE the manufacturer. GE service inspected it and found it had been damaged inside and the whole unit needs to be replaced. I'll never shop at Home Depot again. You pay good money and they don't want to do the right thing.

I went to pick up an anti-fatigue kitchen mat. The app said it was in a certain aisle. I looked and looked. Finally I asked an associate for help. He looked and found some but not the one I wanted. The app said that they had three in stock. So the associate said that some may be up high and he looked and he was able to find one for us. So I give an A+ to Dylan. But a D for the app.

Let me tell you about the fantastic experience I had with Home Depot Kitchen Designer Ingrid. The sheer number of choices and decisions to be made when remodeling a kitchen can seem daunting, and it helps to have a knowledgeable designer to work with. I tried two other well known stores and didn't get the sense that the designers actually wanted to help design a kitchen. It was more of a rush to churn out a quick design with no nuance or tailoring to my needs. With Ingrid, she was friendly, patient, offered thoughtful ideas, and she clearly understands that details matter. During my three appointments with her to work on the design, I noticed how other staff interacted with her. She is clearly liked and respected. By the end, I felt good about the kitchen we designed together. I don't know if all Home Depot kitchen designers are like Ingrid, I just know she was an absolute gem!

The young people in the Garden department on Saturday 12/9 were so helpful and honest and efficient in guiding us to find the best and most economical Christmas tree, I must give 'em 5 stars. (I've never been squeamish about giving HD negative reviews, so I must recognize 'The Good' at HD). They really impart the holiday spirit to customers. 5-star sales associates. Thanks!

I should have known better. 3 years later, and ain't a d_mn thing change! Employees hide from customers. No one ever answers the phone. I actually went in and ordered some cabinets and they were shipped to the store. The email had a "Pick up by ____" but I knew I wouldn't be there by this date. So the same email teasingly said, "Call the store if you need help." But it does not matter if I call the store at 6 am, 6 pm, 12 noon or any time in between--no on ever picks up. So I had to call the 800 #, and they called the store. This time the store picks up and puts me on hold for customer service! Once again, they don't pick up! So they transferred me back over to cabinets! I asked the woman if she could walk over to customer care and let them know I will pick up my order # on Sat Nov 18th, bc I really do not want it to get sent back! This store is a joke, and the need a major overhaul with management and customer service!

Gilberto was the employee who assisted me w/ a lawnmower rental and dumped the equipment protection plan without verifying/consenting with me first. After I came back to return it, I asked him about it, he told me I was at fault for not reading the agreement disclosure. I told him he needs to give customers an overview before having customers sign any agreement. I spoke to the manager JR and he told me he will correct the matter, also told me that I need to review the contract going forward. Not a good way to provide customer service, Ty Kevin for following up and providing a refund for the damage protection!!

Worst Home Depot for the Saturday kids projects. They are not ready with any supplies. Not having at hand what parents or kids need. They act like we will steal stuff.The Hispanic ladies are super slow and the old lady is a dramatic.Will never come here for Saturday projects.West Hyattsville is the BEST!!

Always had good experience with special orders until this last one, guy at millwork lies to my face to push a pricier brand of window, give me the usual 4-6 wks. Now I'm looking at 3 to 4 months.
