I accidentally hit my side mirror while backing out. Every other part of my car was fine except for the side mirror. I was referred to this body shop by Geico. At first, I was impressed by them, but during the wait for my vehicle repair, I was disappointed. Every time they told me my car would be ready to go, it wasn’t. I waited two weeks for my side mirror to be delivered and they provided me with no voluntary updates. Every time I got an update on my vehicle, I was the one calling them. I felt like a bother. They claim they were texting me with updates , but I received nothing from them. This place needs better communication. Also when I finally got the chance to pick up my vehicle after the repair, they told me they were “closed”. It was 5:20 and they close at 6 pm according to Google. Although they still brought me my car, I didn’t appreciate the attitude of the staff. The woman at the front desk is nice, (joyce) . However, some people need to check their attitude.

LESSON LEARNED. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CARS FOR REPAIRS THERE!!No communication whatsoever from DarCars about progress of my repair. Cosmetic repair was estimated to take 2 weeks and I’m 5 weeks in still no car. I completely understand delays could occur but it’s the bad customer service for me.With my insurance company only covering my rental for a month (4 weeks). I have no car or rental to use during this time and DarCars don’t seem to care nor find a temporary solution for me.My car is fully drivable and repair was purely cosmetic. A suitable solution is if DarCars could not give me a loaner post insurance rental car coverage, they can at least put my car together while they wait on new parts they kept ordering in batches. Clearly they don’t want to incur any cost for themselves.Any update I got was from me calling them. Their employees are so non-chalant on the phone, do not care about customers, and have an attitude of “your car will be ready whenever it is ready”.Moral of the story is so not to take your vehicles to Geico acclaimed independent repair shop especially if you drive a luxury car. Go to your dealer cos Land Rover will never leave me hanging with no car while my car is getting fixed.

My car has been there for more than a month past the time for geico to cover my rental. Don’t sign up for alerts because you will not get any. They’re full of excuses. Kelly told me they couldn’t reach me bc my phone couldn’t receive messages??? No answer when I asked “why didn’t ya’ll call me then”. The whole month I never received updates on my car. Kelly also left me on hold after I called to express my concerns to the manager. I don’t think she ever spoke to the manager. This ordeal was beyond frustrating. The worst experience ever they had my car for 3 months and when i got my car back half the work was done had to call the GM to get 10,500 that was paid and all the work was not done even put broken parts on my car and tried to deni anything was broken but of course they eventually found the problem after ibspoke to the gm

Hi,This is my over all experience with dar cars service centerFirst day 07-09-2022 I dropped my car at 9:15 for my 9:30 appointment and some one from front desk old man picked my car keys with couple of papers he marked all the damages on top of the paper and when I asked the Expected time to pick up the car he said two days and he also mentioned to me to call afternoon in the same day to get the accurate pick up time for the vehicle . I called couple of times there is one lady named ms.Lynne she answered the phone and said there is no car to me I said I parked in the parking she never went out and checked it and she falsely claimed their is no car and I came back to the collision center to make sure my car was there and after I went there she asked my papers again where is my papers which I said I already completed in the morning and she mentioned she don’t found it and she also claimed if I don’t fill the papers again she will not start my car work. After couple of minutes(25 min wait ) she found the papers and the same day she moved the car to garage at 6:00 pm where I dropped my car at 9:15 in the morning and after there is no any status update about the car and after couple of calls they mentioned they are going to give me my car 07-24-2022 after I put lot of pressure they gaven back my car on 07-21-2022 without doing any work and replacing only back tail lamp and bumper which took around 13 working days to fix and no any other fixes they marked initially and now I am getting my check engine light and engine sounds after driving couple of hours this is not the right place to give your car for collision they rip your money and your time.

When I tell you they have the worst customer service ever do not bring your car to this place pick another car and collision center they're trash they almost got my vehicle towed and sent to the auction without me getting my personal merchandise out of it and didn't inform me communication skills no good and I need to be closed

This is the worst collision center. I have had the worst experience with collision center Geico Insurance company should be ashamed of doin business with this collision center. My car had to be serviced 3 times before it was fixed and I am still having problems. Every time I have call the shop they are under new management. This shop needs to be closed for good!!!!

These people have stolen my money. They charged a second supplement payment after I already took my car and took the cash from the insurance company and me. Somebody owes me a check. This was real shady. And now the manager will not get back to me. This was in August and it is now Mid October. I say stay away from here. I just bought my Kia Telluride at the DARCARS in Lanham! It was such a great experience I don't think I will ever go to another company again! They were so professional and helped me decide on what to get and I felt like I was with family! The GM, Sam, was amazing and was explaining even more than I asked and wanted to make sure I was happy with what I was getting. Other dealerships I have been to are always so pushy, but not this one. He told me to make sure I was happy
