The people are very nice and friendly, however, the cars do not appear to be properly maintained. The windows and mirrors are always filthy to the point that you can never see out of them. They can be short-staffed staff at times. Just be mindful that the person who works the register is the same person who gets your car and cleans it at the time of pickup, which causes delays.

I wait over 2 hours in a line of 9 people in from of me because the receptionist seen didn’t knows at all what she was doing to be worse when was my turn the reservation prices have changed from the price I have make onlind with Priceline from $175 to $225 some change. On the contract the time I have reservations to pick up and drop got changed.Very experienced on the pass with Burget - enterprise rental

I've got time today. Over 10 years I have tried this location always hoping for better - its only been 3 times. They never have cars but they always take the reservation WHY. It looks like Fraudulent practices and violation of consumer rights. This time they quoted one price online, tell you about the deposit in person, then charge your card an extra 100 bucks ensuring you the its the agreed upon price. They had 10 ppl waiting for cars, one booked 2 weeks before; at 5:45 when they close at 6.The lady doesn't care, just we don't have any cars, sorry. What is the point of placing my card number on the online reservation? I also called to confirm everything and the local number kicked me to corporate where they too confirmed my reservation. The franchise owners of this location is not honoring their own Corporate contract. I'm reporting Avis and Budget at this particular location, to state and federal consumer affairs.

This was the worst experience that I experienced renting from Avis. I had to change vehichles at the Pittsburgh Airport. The vehicle shook when the speed was 60-70 mph and I had to put air in the right rear tire very 50- 80 miles. My destination was to arrive at tMaide of the Mist in Niagra Falls NY. I never made it because I had to take the vehichle to the Pittsburgh Airport. I lost money on the hotel. Avis at the Pittsburgh Airport exchanged the vehichle with out any hassle. I drove it and upon driving back to Maryland the oil light come on. I was informed the light comes on every 3000 miles but they change the oil every 10000 miles. This was a 2019 Buick Evolve. Do not rent from here. They never have enough people working, they are rude and unprofessional. The one person working behind the counter is ALWAYS on the phone. They don’t honor reservations and they have no customer service skills! I had a reservation scheduled for weeks and when I went in the woman was so rude and nasty and told me that the car I had reserved wasn’t available and there was nothing she could do because all the other cars were mini vans and she tried to make me pay $80 extra a day for an error THEY made!

Awful experience, we went into an accident with the rental car (hopefully we had a full coverage) we are a big family so it’s a 12 places car, after a text received by AVIS to tell us that a new vehicule (same range) was waiting for us at the AVIS langham. We went there but when we arrived the lady had no idea of the incident and after an hour of papers, redoing the report ect.. she dare to tell us that there were no 12 places vehicule anyway.So we left with a damaged car even though we are fully insured !!

I had an exceptionally positive experience at the Lanham Avis location. The three people who were working on the first and last day of my rental were all professional, friendly and a lot of fun to deal with, and the car was clean and a joy to drive. I will absolutely rent from them again!

Horrible customer service. They way these ppl talk to their customers is terrible. Straight attitude. I don't know who that young lady is that worked the front desk today but she's the absolute worst.
