I am truly a reviews reader. I decided to give this place a try even after seeing the negative reviews because I really wanted it to be a perfect fit for me given it is within my driving route. My experience was extremely pleasant! My wash was thorough and my hair was that "squeaky" clean. I saw many women getting their hair done beautifully before me and all left very satisfied customers. All staff members were very professional, understood my needs, and delivered perfectly!! While we were waiting to be serviced, they offered bottled water.? Plus, they accept credit cards, which is important because many places usually want cash. I am not too keen on them asking me to use their ATMs in the back to get the cash.....you never know these days with so many scams. For the simple blowout service, the price of $60 seems reasonable. Flow Bar will be my new go-to spot!

Where to start my shampoo experience was so pleasant! But the staff is unreal my child was to have what is called rocks with rollers they did not do so service that was paid for but! They did give a discount on her hair for her Birthday! Let's get into hair service they clearly don't know how to service you if your hair is damaged or short. The stylist with blond hair doesn't know my daughter speaks Spanish and she was talking about her hair! Long story short they don't even use edge tamer in a black community? Wow never again…..

They put perm in my hair, without my knowledge or consent!
I went in Saturday the lady washing my hair was bitching about me using g shea butter in my hair because she had to actually wash my hair to get it out. So then she puts this clear liquid in my hair it said deep conditioner but if they charge for it why would they use it for free? My hair had NEVER been this straight aside from getting perms in highschool. I’ve gotten two blow outs from them recently and my hair didn’t feel like this. I’m already seeing what I can legally do about this. Black women you deserve better! Find and new salon.

Nobody else can touch my hair. Nobodeeeee! I ❤️ this place. It's clean, the system established to service clients in the least amount of time possible is very efficient. I always get compliments.

Prior to getting my hair done 2week ago; my hair was healthy, getting thicker and longer in length. After going to flow bar hair salon… the stylist used excessive heat with blow drying as well as flat ironing my hair. Now it appears damaged.
My hair is no longer the same thickness and length. I’m very disappointed. I will repair the damages of my hair; and will no longer go back to this salon.

Will NOT be going back here. You have to explain yourself two three times to two three different people. If I complain to one manager about my hair why should I have to come in explain it again to another one. Got a blow out with curly curls on Friday left it in pin curls until Saturday evening so the curls will be really curly. My hair looks like WTH. This is my go to Dominican blowout salon in the DMV! I’ve been to a few but this one is always consistent with good customer service. For background purposes, my hair is thhiiicccckkkkkk and slightly past my shoulders. I always get the deep condition and if I have time I add for my hair to be steamed. From there I go straight to the chair (doesn’t even matter who you go to!) to get my hair blown out. I pay a little extra to have it pinned up before I leave. Every time I go it’s drama free and chill. I honestly feel like those that did not rate them 5 stars have not been to a Dominican salon before. Anything drama free gets 5 stars from me!Services: Blowouts

They should not allow people to go in front of you for the service if you get there first. Also nobody seems friendly.. they have a salon of 5 -6 but, only be taking like 2 people at a time. I won’t be back..unfortunately.. treat all customers the same especially when a person is paying for service!

Let me preface by saying I loved this salon. But I called first thing inmorning to ask if they did kids hair, because my son has waist length hair at the age 5 and I just needed him to have a wash and trim. I personally was coming in for a silk press so I figured why not get him together. The man assured me that they do children's hair and the price. I drove 25 min waited 5 min just to be told they only do children 10 and up normally. Nowhere on the website is it stated age, only children under 13 are a certain price. When I was on the phone the man should have said or at least asked the age range of my child if it was a regulation. So now I'm annoyed wasted my morning my gas and my time all for them to tell me they won't wash his hair. It's not that they can't it's that they won't. I'm so annoyed and will never recommend this salon to anyone again.

This is the best place to get your hair done. Margertti & Alexa are the best. After 2 weeks my hair is still healthy looking and the curls last! Highly recommend! I received a lot of compliments and recommended Flow Hair Bar to them.
