Fantastic Veterans Day program as always. This post is staffed by fantastic people, and the membership is great. The Legion Riders are a great group and very hardworking for the community. If you are eligible, and live in the area, you should be a member here.

Great American Legion post- good leadership, involved membership, and lots of activities in a nice building. The post hosts many fund raising dinners which are open to the public and tasty (steak nights, ribs, shrimp, etc). The Veteran's and Memorial Day commemoration are worth attending. A good group of vets.

American Legion Post 82 is awesome! The camaraderie of veteran brothers, sisters, sons, daughters and their families while serving active duty military and our community is hard to match anywhere. The Legion Family, Legionnaires, Auxiliary, Sons and American Legion Riders work together and are a recognized asset to the Town of La Plata and Charles County. I am proud to be a member of Post 82, La Plata, MD.
