“I always find a special piece or 5 .They are selective but curate a nice collection. They have a rack dedicated to fitness clothing which is mostly filled with Lulu. Denim selection is solid as well. The place is small but a gem.”

“LOTS of cool stuff in this shop, which contains items from several sellers. Great authentic MCM furniture and vintage clothing. The bookseller was loudly complaining (I mean Loudly) about an employee? Needless to say, I didn't buy any books! Heh.”

“I had SUCH a wonderful experience at Fairytale Brides! Missy was absolutely amazing-- she really listened to what I was looking for and helped me find the PERFECT dress! She was so knowledgable, helpful, and patient and really gave her honest opinion. This is a great place to shop for a wedding dress and it is so much more meaningful knowing that it is run by volunteers and proceeds are donated to charity!”

“They have sorted and curated only the best items to resale, so this isn’t your ordinary shop, and the prices show. If you want 1/2 price designer duds, pop in here before you bother with the mall, especially if you are small. Not many XLs.”

“Not going to lie, the clothes are overpriced for the most part. I think the price on the sweater I got was fine, but most of their shirts were the same price. The sweater I found is super comfortable and gets my partner a lot of compliments!”

“This is such a lovely place to shop! They were so friendly and helpful! I found a great summer skirt. They also have an amazing selection of formal wear. This is definitely the place to go!”

“We've been to this merchant a few times. I have a differentability (thank you to my little great niece for changing my perspective ?) and I some times require an aide for walking. My husband and I found some beautiful hand carved canes here and at very reasonable prices. We receive constant compliments going through the airport home and even more when I use them as a walking aide.Purchased hand made leather shoes from here and my son was elated with his gift ?.The staff is always very friendly and you can meet some very interesting people here as well. The store has two levels so don't miss going upstairs. There is definitely a lot to see ? so plan on spending some time to find your treasure. With all that said a little more organization would be nice so you can better see the selection and they have cats all over the place which I was not a fan of. However, my family and I visit here pretty much every time we're in the area and we look forward to viewing their new offerings.Check them out! Hopefully you'll find something interesting of your own in your visit.”

“D.C.'s gem for designer finds! Ella Rue offers amazing, high-quality pieces and the owners/ staff are welcoming and make you feel at home. My favorite stop in DC; you won't regret the visit!”

“Best vintage shop ever! Mercedes is my favorite! She has such a good eye, so her collection is always amazing, and she is fantastic at picking pieces for you that you wouldn’t normally choose but that then become your favorite. I have been blessed to experience this phenomenon many times with Mercedes! She is also just so kind and lovely to chat with. She and her shop are true gems. ?”

“This is a sweet little clothing and accessories store in the heart of Falls Church City. The selection is thoughtfully curated with popular premium brands, like Hannah Andersson. It's definitely a place to find nice, gently used clothes, especially for a young girl in your life. I'm a big believer in reducing waste and reusing items, so I'm glad to shop secondhand. Thrift stores can be super hit or miss when it comes to finding what you want. That's the upside of a store like this--instead of hunting through tons of random things, they've already vetted the selections.”

“The ladies are super helpful and friendly. They carry a nice array of sizes and as a larger than average woman finding things that are cute and unique and not just big is rare in the nicer shops so this one gets a 10/10”

“Found the most gorgeous emerald green Longchamp bag here! The shopkeeper was kind and friendly. It does get crowded on weekends though. Will definitely be back to shop more and hopefully consign!”

“I have only had positive experiences here. The volunteers who've helped me have been lovely, interesting women. The inventory is pretty incredible, mostly jewelry and home wears. Many things will be listed well under market. To me, it's been a treasure and hope others have good experiences, too.”

“Love this neighborhood gem ! Easy process to donate / sell gently used clothes and either redeem for cash back or store credit . Every time I’m gone to donate clothes I end up purchasing new brand name goodies ! Great way to refresh your wardrobe :)”

“Great selection and very nice owner/staff. My aunt and I had a great time shopping around and looking at all the unique, classic pieces. Highly recommend for evening wear, chic work attire and timeless coats and jackets.”

“They have an entire floor downstairs dedicated to upscale furniture and housewares. Designer clothing upstairs and reasonable price. Just don't expect thrift store prices.”

“I was so impressed with the designers represented in this shop. Every item appears to be a designer name, including some lesser known but also very high-end designers. I searched through the dresses and saw a gorgeous navy blue satin Roberto Cavalli, a luxurious Missoni, also Giorgio Armani, MaxMara, Issey Miyaki, Sonia Rykiel and many more treasures. There is a large selection of coats, handbags, skirts, pants, blouses, shoes and jewelry as well. Prices are fair but they drop to 40% off after three months so you can find a few gems at unheard of prices in the collection. I will definitely be looking here for a statement item for my wardrobe!”

“Took a field trip, braved the cold to Takoma Park. I grew up steps from Berkeley, CA and Takoma Park transports me back to a Berkeley neighborhood each time I go. This shop was great and full of hidden surprises! Not all the clothing was in pristine condition and definitely lots to see. I settled on a pair of red corduroy pants (vintage Ralph Lauren). Yes, most likely will return. There is also a delicious Mexican restaurant super close Cielo Roja.”

“Cleanliness: 4-5/5 Items: 4/5 Price: 4/5 The shop was clean and the workers wore a mask. There was also a screen between the customer and where you pay. The prices ranged from around 5$ to around $15 for clothes. They have more than clothes, but I was primarily looking for vintage clothes, extravagant clothing, and early 2000s bright crop tops for a photo shoot. Unfortunately, I couldn't find what I was looking for, but they did have a wide variety of clothes from men suits to a wedding dress (only 1 I saw) to regular daily wear. The items were sorted by size and price rack, which made it easier to browse. It was an okay thrift store and clean, but it wasn't my cup of tea regarding what they had. Regardless, I recommend just checking it out since each thrift store is different and may appeal to different people.”

“Good quality clothing that's well organized by size and type, and good selection of housewares and linens. Prices are on the higher side, which seems to be the trend for several larger thrift stores. Also has some new items like socks, They have half-off sales around major holidays like Memorial Day and Labor Day, when you can score great finds at more reasonable thrift/used prices. Also got a carry on with spinner wheels for only $16 (Sept 2023), which was a great find.”

“The place is good, there is a lot of variety, I just left shopping there but there is a man there who is rude, one of the workers there told him to serve us at the other ATM and he left us second to serve another American and we asked him Why did he do that and told us to go to the other cashier and then the worker told him that why so, if we were there before and that she should serve us and he told her bad words that I won't say here but my children were with me but It doesn't even have that for that. Education”

“The negative comments about the workers being “rude” “arrogant” confirmed I needed to stop by but everyone there was chill and helpful. Nice designer that’s nicely priced”

“I had to laugh at some of these 1 & 2 * reviews and now understand why the standards have changed. It has shifted to appease those who do not understand there is a difference between designer and brand. I am of a darker hue and older. I have been a thrifter and a consignment shopper for almost 50 years and Reddz is one of my go tos. For your FYI consignment is for high end pieces. I myself do not consignment shop to see other's low standard clothing that I would not pay for new. The staff is always accommodating, and you could be getting back what you are giving, if you want conversation find your friends. Please stop bringing your subpar clothing that you or no one wants, I am tired of looking at it and wondering why it is there taking up space and wasting my time sifting though items that ahould be at The Goodwill.”
