I delivered auto parts here for many years until the company (Arriva) went out of business. Emory and his dad were great people and were very knowledgeable. I'm going to have to make time to stop by and visit.

I love this place. The owner is honest, his mechanics are competent, if you don't need it, he won't install it, the prices are reasonable, the attitude is very good. I am a sometimes do it yourself person, my last do-it-yourself project became a disaster and I took the disaster to him. He happily accepted it, fixed my disaster and the charges were reasonable. He has a following in my neighborhood and I've never heard a complaint. If you are in a rush don't go. It can take a couple of weeks but other than that everything is first rate.

Emery is simply the nicest guy in the world. He lent me diagnostic equipment to fix my own car. He has been my families mechanic for decades. I have complete trust in him and his honesty. I have never met a more honest car repair man. When his father was alive and helping out at Simca, I had the pleasure of meeting Emery's inspiration in the auto repair business. I know how to fix cars myself but there are things I can't do because it requires specialty tools and that's when I bring the cars to Simca. But I know what repair should be and what it should cost. I have always gotten a good diagnosis and an accurate cost estimate from Emery. Other places are a total rip off.

My family has been coming here for over 20 years because of the quality of their service and the awesome people who work here, especially Emory! I couldn't recommend a more trusted mechanic! You can always trust they don't overcharge you for the services and that they did the job well. Definitely recommend bringing your car here for any repairs you might need!

I've concluded that Emery is a wizard....A genuinely KIND, helpful, magical wizard. After just one hour spent with my Trailblazer (after I dropped in on him without warning, having never been to his shop before, and having no personal connection whatsoever to him), it was(is) purring and acting like it doesn't even know what a CEL is or how to illuminate it. I mean, on the way to him I wasn't even sure the thing was going to make it in one piece. This was after a week of constant misfires, really rough idling, replaced ignition coils, spark plugs, and a looming $1500 estimate from another shop to fix what they thought the issue was. Thank you thank you thank you to Emery!! Consider me a forever loyal customer.... Bringing all of my [auto] problems to Simca!! Oh and two tips I've gathered from a couple of folks now: 1. don't call, seriously...he doesn't answer the phone so you have to go in-person, and 2. AM doesn't exist at the shop.... Go in the PM/into the evening hours, always. Granted, I've only gone once but both rang true for me just as others described. One last thing in response to all the one star reviews for the phone going unanswered..... if almost every single other review says they don't answer the phone then why would you think you'll be the special flower that gets picked? Come on folks, I'd never been there before last night either, and I just stopped by like everyone said I should....and had a seriously heartwarming and successful experiment. If you know how to yip your yap on Yelp then you should be able to read other reviews just as easily. Don't ding a business unless they actually did something nefarious...this is not rocket science.

Terrible, horrible service. They never answer phone calls, keep your car for a week for a simple service, and never provide updates. VERY rude when you can finally get them to give you an update.
