The finished kit works perfectly in my recording studio and provides huge value for the cost! As usual (this is his 3rd project for me), Elman went above and beyond the minimum to do the job, and he did it in a timely way at reasonable high cost. In his report about the job, he wrote: "I utilized hot glue to safeguard soldering points, mitigating electronic noise and electromagnetic interference caused by time, loose connections, or poor joints. “Stumbled upon this shop with wall to wall vintage TVs and radios. I mean it is packed, little room for customers inside. I saw repairman Doug at a work bench right at the entrance, he was repairing an old radio, using a soldering gun.Polite gentlemen who told me he does NOT sell new TVs. Nope he repairs the vintage stuff, the stuff that requires vacuum tubes and such. The stuff that is part furniture and part electronics. He told me many folks contact him by phone trying to obtain vacuum tubes and other parts to repair guitar amplifiers, TVs, radios and such. He has been in the biz for decades!He told me he has plenty of restoration work to keep him busy. Free parking in a busy lot, several businesses in this small shopping strip.? ?”
