We have not been successful until we arrived at the Olney, MD HomeGoods.Not only did we get pillows and a rug, but a nice glider - swivel chair.More importantly, we want to complement Juan! who was the coordinator who put the rug in our car and then again put the chair in when we returned later in the same day.He is very efficient and careful and I think he deserves our praise and HomeGood’s praise!”

“This Olney TJ Maxx isn't my favorite as I believe the town of Olney doesn't get as many nice items as other towns. The men's department is quite beyond lame. Often I've gone in for what I think is a simple item and had no luck. Many times I've gone here and not enough people are at the checkout and customers start getting irate.
However, that being said, my last 2 visits have been fruitful. I can't find fault with the handbag selection, they do a good job getting a decent variety and one can even find a Kate Spade or Coach treasure among the other brands. They have a price point for everyone. They also have a good selection of luggage but make sure you test all the zippers, wheels and handles, inside and out. I find the luggage prices on the high side for a discount store, but it's still less than elsewhere, but just. (Luggage prices are outrageous anyway, especially now that people are traveling again.)
They also have a decent selection of cosmetic tools, lotions, housewares, etc. If you need a gift, you will probably find something here, but don't count on a nice scarf, there's been nothing to be had for the past several months (May-August '24 is when I was looking for a trip.)
Lastly, in my most recent visit, there were plenty of cashiers which was a pleasant surprise and something I hope becomes the norm. (Hiring issues aside, don't get mad at a manager who is shorthanded. I don't believe it's her fault.)”

“I generally like TJ Maxx, and especially their Runway items that are traditionally more upscale, but Marshall's is a slightly less elevated version offering some excellent discounts. This store isn't terribly large, but they always have a really good selection of men's, women's, and children's clothing and shoes, as well as cosmetics/toiletries and homewares.”

“The one thing I come to T. J. Maxx for is Korean skincare items for cheaper. This store had a great selection, and I came out with a new face wash, exfoliating wash, toner, and serum. They have a great selection of on-sale items here as well, though I didn’t see any Korean items amongst them. I went on a Saturday and it wasn’t too busy.”
“This is an awesome TJ Maxx!! I recommend going during the weekdays, as it gets super busy on the weekends. On the weekdays, it’s super clean and organized, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The selection is great, and the beauty area is so well stocked. Love this store!”

“This is a newer store (opened in 2016), and it is clear leadership has maintained their investment in this store. The workers are surprisingly friendly, especially on the floor. It is clear that the cashiers don't have this patience, but I don't blame this. The place is well organized, clean and clearly well worked. Good experience for a Marshalls.”

“Really organized and clean.The shoe area for women looks good, but the shoes aren't the size they are labeled and other customers appear to switch the boxes and hide what they want to come back for later. Smaller sizes are mostly sold out.”
“Took awhile to find items since they moved sections around. I hate that they removed the price checking sites. That was very helpful. Only one cashier open with a lengthy problem customer. Had to use self checkout which I feel is incovenient. Don't get a discount for doing it!!!!! Store always nice, neat and clean.”

“This is another store that is technically attached to the mall, but you need to go outside in order to access it. Best to just move your car and save yourself the hassle.I came here in search of some items that I didn't seem to have because of my recent move. Honestly, I had nothing in mind when I walked in here, but of course I found something. Like every single other person that walks in here, you end up with something.I do have to say, compared to the neighboring, similar store, this one is much more organized, and appears much cleaner. Although you can never predict what stock they have they were well stocked with what they did actually have. I did a lot of browsing and ended up with things that I knew I wanted but not necessarily needed.Check out was a breeze and pleasant. The staff were polite and made sure to take care of items purchased.”

“This has been my most favorite TJ Maxx I have been to in this area. Every time I enter this location I always end up walking out of here with an item I have either needed or wanted. I have found so many things in here that make my apartment feel complete. Out of all the locations this is by far the cleanest and most well organized one so far I have come across. Everything has it's place and they are plenty stocked on what they do have on the shelves. With it being so well organized it made browsing so much easier and I contribute that to the reason I have purchased so many items here. I mean I walked out with an automatic water bowl for my cat. I didn't need it, and she doesn't use it, but it was presented so well that I bought it. Customer service here is great. I have been treated with respect by the employees. The only thing that they could improve on is the amount of registers they have open at any given time.”

“Everything about our visit to Marketplace Cafe in Nordstrom Montgomery mall was fine except the noise level. The restaurant was only about 50% full at best but the noise level was very high. I did not see much in the way of sound dampening finishes and that should be considered.”

“I stopped in to buy a bottle of wine. This store was packed with people and they had a great selection of wines. I really liked how the type of wine was clearly marked by aisle,so I could find my Sauvignon blanc easily. They had quite a variety to pick from. They also had gourmet cheeses, gourmet crackers, and international candies. So, if I am in a hurry and I am making a holiday cheese board, this is a one stop shop. The prices were a little on the higher side, except for sale wines, which were very reasonable. If you are looking for wine, I would recommend giving them a try.”
