Ascension Home Contractor replaced my roof and it was a great experience. Anxiety was high for me taking on such a big home repair. Jimmy answered all my questions and the team worked efficiently and cleaned up without leaving a trace.
UPDATE: Once you find a great contractor who is reliable, knowledgeable and treats your home like his own you come back for more. After the roof job, I called Ascension back for more projects to include a full basement redo, bathroom and kitchen tile. Still five stars!!! They can handle everything inside and out.

Words cannot express how pleased I am with the work that Jimmy and his guys have done at my house. The workmanship has been top notch at every turn. I have been amazed at the extent to which they have gone out of their way to do things the right way. I have enough construction experience to know where corners can be and often are cut. At every turn, Ascension Home Contractors has taken the time to do the little things that make all the difference. I had considered building this deck myself and am very glad that I didn't. Jimmy has used quality lumber and materials. The lumber and the decking were significantly better than anything supplied by the big box home improvement stores.
I have been so impressed with the little things that they have taken upon themselves to do along the way. These are the details that take a project from good to great. Ascension has exceeded my expectations. I trust Jimmy and will gladly use Ascension again for future projects.

In October of this year, I had an issue with plumbing – water started leaking from my bathroom to the bathroom of the apartment below. Our neighborhood technician, who is also a friend, evaluated the problem and asked to contact an outside contractor to have the problem fixed and recommended Ascension Home Contractors, LLC, i.e. Jimmy and his team. I called, and luckily for me, Jimmy was available to come and take a look almost immediately. … Fast-forward, I agreed to hire Jimmy to remodel my entire bathroom. Firstly, because my bathroom was begging for it, and it was time to deal with it. Second, because Jimmy seemed like a decent guy, he listened to my concerns and reassured me that he and his team would work around my work schedule and the renovation would stay within my budget.Renovation projects can be stressful. But it wasn’t in my case, because thanks to Jimmy and his team, I didn’t have to deal with it a lot. Jimmy planned, organized, prioritized, and managed my expectations very well. They even picked up my online orders from Home Depot and Floor and Décor. I was very pleased with the services. … Three weeks later, not including the week of Thanksgiving, my new bathroom is ready and looks great, and I am happy about it and so very grateful.Overall, I had a positive experience with this company and can recommend their services without hesitation. I worked with Jimmy as an interior designer on a bathroom project. It was a full gut job. He was wonderful to work with. He is easy to talk to, he's on time and shows up when he says he will. He has the experience and skills to get the job done. His team is efficient and friendly. I just bought a house in January. Shortly after I moved in there was a water leak. The plumber confirmed my bathtub needed to be replaced. I obtained 6 different estimates. I selected Ascension Home Contractors to perform the work because Jimmy was thorough in his estimate, and explained everything involved, and his company had positive reviews. Ascension did a nice job with the work. The bathroom remodel turned out great. He replaced the tub with a high quality cast iron tub (which I bought), his guys did a good job with the tile work, and they installed a new window too which looks great. Over the past 5 months, I've received a lot of compliments from people onsite and online with the bathroom renovation. I recommend Ascension for remodeling projects and I'll keep them in mind for future work as well.Services: Home renovations

My upstairs bathtub was leaking and needed to be replaced. Since the bathtub was surrounded by tile on the floor and wall, this required a bathroom renovation. I obtained six different estimates. I selected Ascension Home Contractors because this was a local company and I was impressed with the great reviews. The estimate was thorough and Jimmy took time to explain everything involved. Jimmy went above and beyond on this bathroom renovation. The tile work was excellent, as was the installation of the tub. I special ordered a cast iron tub which Jimmy and his team picked up and delivered. The bathroom was renovated three months ago. Since that time, I've had different people visit the house and I shared pictures of the bathroom online and everyone was super impressed. Ascension did a terrific job with the bathroom remodel and even went above and beyond to fix a few other things. They also installed a new window to the bathroom and it looks great. I highly recommend Ascension Home Contractors and I'll keep them in mind for future work as well.

Jimmy and his team have done several projects for me over the years, both before and after my family moved out of state. They took care of drywall repairs, lead paint removal, interior painting, plumbing, and various other things around my house. Jimmy is always responsive, professional, and keep me updated; and their work is always top notch. As a homeowner and landlord who lives far away, I cannot overstate how valuable it is to have a trusted contractor you can just call when issues arise. I had a fantastic experience with Ascension Home Contractors. They completely updated a basement bedroom (including enlarging the room and adding a closet) and basement utility room. The estimate and final price after change orders were very reasonable. The project was completed right on time with the initial time estimate as well. Jimmy and his crew were very professional, on time, and clean. I will certainly look to Ascension for future home projects given how positive of an experience I had.
