“03/08/2024- I like “ thrifting”!!! I like thrift stores, consignment shops, second-hand stores! Believe it or not, a lot of retailers donate tagged, brand new retail merchandise that has become outdated , to thrift stores! If you know anything about quality of fabric and materials and designer brand names; a thrift store can be thrift heaven! I generally go to walk around browsing and to unwind, or purchase treasures that other people no longer want! It’s not junk! I am a singer and my stage pieces for performance generally are created from my unique finds at the Thrift Store! Yes to Thrift! Love this store!”

“This is one of my favorite thrift stores in Southern Maryland. The store is huge and they have a large variety of quality items at excellent prices. If you download their rewards app, you can also earn some additional coupons. Great place to make donations also.”
“[Part of Giving Tuesday 2019] I can only write from the perspective of a volunteer/donor, but Martha's Table seems to have a strong mission towards helping children and families in the DC area. Our class wanted to organize a clothing/food drive, and Martha's Table seemed to have the most bang for your buck. You can always donate in liquid like every other organization, but not as feasible for someone on the student lifestyle. There's plenty of drop-off locations for clothing and baby items across the city. If you can give food items like canned and dried goods, you gotta go to their Maycroft location on Columbia Rd NW. Easy to just reserve a 15-minute appointment on their website and drop off our load. I see their trucks all around the city serving the community - here's to hoping everyone's littles go a long way.”

4960 Annapolis Rd, Bladensburg“Good quality clothing that's well organized by size and type, and good selection of housewares and linens. Prices are on the higher side, which seems to be the trend for several larger thrift stores. Also has some new items like socks, They have half-off sales around major holidays like Memorial Day and Labor Day, when you can score great finds at more reasonable thrift/used prices. Also got a carry on with spinner wheels for only $16 (Sept 2023), which was a great find.”
“Love this place, lovely family owned store. They're always so helpful. They pretty much have everything you need especially in an emergency. Best part is we get to keep money in our community over national brands. If you live near by and want them to have something that you know you'll continue to buy they are willing to get it to have it on hand for you (of course be reasonable).Just be careful walking in here as there is A LOT so make sure you are careful where you're walking.”
“Their hours a limited, like all NMCRS thrift stores (Tue., Thu. 1100-1300; 1st Sat. of the Month 1000-1400) but it's the only one in the DC area. They have a whole room dedicated to Navy and Marine Corps uniform items. If you need extra khakis or whites, check this place out first before going to the uniform store. Occasionally they'll have bridge coats or pea coats or even mess dress (typically only men's though). I've been told there are other thrift stores with a better selection of women's uniforms but this is the closest one to me and it's better than nothing! They also have a variety of rank devices, ribbons, metals, belts, and all those other small uniform extras that you'll inevitably loose and need to replace. Also a great place to donate rank items when you promote (including the ones that you might have to sew on!) In addition to uniforms, they also have a decent selection of clothing. They have small collections of toys, books, and housewares, and try to set up a seasonal display. Items will be discounted towards the end of the season and prices are generally fair for a thrift store. They just recently started accepting credit cards and were previously cash or check only which is a huge and much appreciated change. You need a military ID to purchase uniform items and base access to get to the thrift store, but it's a great bonus for the local military community.”
“Can’t speak to the shopping experience, but the folks working the donations are all so helpful and kind. They offer to help take your bags out of your car for you so it’s a quick and easy process. Was there Sunday 10/29. Thanks all!”

6307 Allentown Rd, Camp Springs“A lot of people have the wrong idea about thrift stores(second hand stores). One friend said she would never buy someone else’s old, dirty, worn, hand me downs!!! WOW! I on the other hand love Thrift Stores! Believe it or not, I look for designer name tags in all of the garments and generally I have an idea of what color and what type of item I am looking to purchase. I found this cute little long cotton over dress to wear over summer pants! Only paid $12.77 for two pieces! Loved it.”
“Very good prices, excellent service. I work with a lady who speaks Spanish and is very kind and polite. I will always buy at this family store because she always has positive energy and is very very kind.”
“Got my booster! Just checking schedule and just GO! Fill out forms when you get there, take COVID Vaccinations card and ID. We'll organized. Kudos to the ARC, located in the PGCounty office areas on McCormick in Latgo.”
“****Military Thrift Store - Not Open to the Unauthorized****I love this store!! I've gotten items at great deals and bargins. Friendly staff. Lots of variety.”
