“The traffic around this Trader Joe's is very busy and can get congested. Surprisingly though the inside of the store is much more spacious than the other stores I've been to in DC. Products are consistent and always in stock.”
“I love this store! It’s clean and friendly. Beautiful produce and meats and so reasonably priced. My only complaint is that the Italian sliced panini bread molds very quickly. I bought some yesterday and it looked fine or I totally missed it but it’s got mold on it. This is the third time so I don’t recommend buying it. Other than that, no complaints!”

“This was one of my favorite spots pre covid. It's still nice, but it's lost some of it's appeal and luster.
I loved the poke bowls and crunchy shrimp roll, they nolonger have those. I used to love the soda machine making my own flavors like peach and raspberry sprite and cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper, or just lemon dasani.
They were the best, now they are just ok. The grocery part of the store, is still awesome. They have a lot of asian ingredients things I can't find anywhere else. And I love their fresh pressed juices, especially fugi apple juice. The basting oil is an essential component to my cooking in my kitchen. It pairs so well with seafood.

“This new Giant offers a variety of foods from various countries. I have found that the staff are approachable and extremely helpful. They will go out of their way to help locate whatever you need. The meats and veggies are always fresh.”
“I'll preface by saying that this Aldi is located at the crossroads of a gentrified H Street and about 4 different hoods. With that said, the crew at this store are able to keep shelves stocked, and their store clean and mostly peaceful. Every associate is helpful and not rude. They usually have the main items you'd come to an Aldi for. A bit smaller than suburban locations but definitely not lacking in the staples and brands you'd expect at an Aldi. The only criticisms are that the lines are usually incredibly long, and the restrooms can be pretty filthy between checks but those are really minor gripes and more due to how crowded the overall area is.

“I went for some gallon alkaline water, and this location had plenty of stalk. I'm very happy with having this option locally. Usually I have to travel to the DC area or Virginia for gallon options.”

“Like shopping at ALDI has variety of seled items reasonably priced. But lately, I notice the store is dirty not kept clean food items out of place. Where is the manager? and why they can't see the MESS. Needs to do better or I will discontinued shopping at the Oxen Hill store.”

Kosher Korner - anything you order will be good. Catalyst Hot Dogs - fun new twists on the traditional favorite. “Had to make a quick dinner decision. No hot wings, baked chickens etc. Justin boxed frozen dinners. No family meals. Single frozen dinners. Accepts EBT but not the Senior Healthy Benefits UCard. The Convenience Store is in an ALL income area. Home owners, renters, and Seniors. Most people are on a fixed income and Seniors could buy more if they had more fresh fruits and veggies and accepted the Senior Benefit Card. The younger home owners have a great selection of wines.”
“The workers, doing the assigned Job took care to servicing the customers, per individuals. Some were unhappy workers taking on the demand of both the customers and the assigned manager or boss. Some workers left due to their work schedule and much added pressure. Service with a smile could have many reasons.”

“Not only are the fruits and groceries fairly priced but it’s honestly *one of the only places* that actually has affordable hot meals in the whole area. The Tamales are hella good ?If their landlord raises their rent and prices them out I will riot. Or at least tell all my neighbors and local orgs to support them and shame the landlord. It’s happened to too many good places recently”

“Fantastic selection of beer, wine, and snacks, and reliably has pantry staples like sugar, flour, onions, coffee creamer, etc. Owner/manager is friendly and pleasant, and the "requested items" board near the entrance is a nice touch. I live on the other side of Florida Ave NW, but will happily walk the extra blocks to get here!”

“Joint Base Andrews is a terrific grocery location. You can always count on them to have fresh and great selections of produce (meats, veggies and fish). They also have the best prices and best bulk/ family size options. Our Costco visits have reduced to a couple times a year- as we typically find all of our regular and daily needs at this commissary with no issues.
Sundays are a typical shop day for my family and they always seemed to be well stocked then. I love the Sushi bar as they have the best fish, fresh and incredibly tasty! The deli and fish market are also great. Another plus is the international selections- I typically find all my go to spices and packaged goods; just as one would at a commissary in or out of US! The staff are very friendly! Even when it is busy with heavy lines- they move quickly!”
