Notably, the establishment lacks seating arrangements, as all orders are intended for takeout. Situated on a street corner without a designated parking lot, patrons driving to the location must seek street parking alternatives.”

“this place & the owners hold my heart... a true dc small business!! the couple who owns the store are so kind and great you with such a genuine small every time you walk in. i've only been 6 or 7 times periodically but they recognize me every time i walk in. good selection of random necessities for the food desert that is ledroit... and you MUST try their homemade chocolate chip cookies they keep on the counter because i swear they're one of the best you'll ever have. thank me later.”

“This is my neighborhood store. When I need coffee, sandwich, something quick on the way home from work this is where I go. Their coffee is solid (better than the place around the corner for sure), prepared food is very tasty and there are about 3 sandwiches that are so good I can't seem to buy a different one! But what stands out the most are the people. They know my name and I know theirs. They are good honest people and hard workers who take the time to make you feel welcomed. In a world that seems to be becoming more and more abstract and divorced from simple human to human relationships it's as much a beacon of home that a corner store can be. Over the top review- yes but they've been my place for years so they earned it in my mind.”
