Thrift Stores near Jessup, MD

18 locations found near Jessup

“Decent selection, but not a ton of stuff compared to the second ave thrift store nearby. They had a medium amount of clothes, a good amount of furniture, not too many accessories, not too many shoes, and a decent amount of home goods. I would probably return for a quick visit if I was looking for something specific.”

“Fantastic selection. Good prices. Can't go wrong here. I recently bought a night stand for less than $40 -- it is well made, recently painted, new fixture on the drawer & had claw feet. Staff are very professional & pleasant, too.”

“Visited this location over the weekend and was surprised by the foot traffic in the door. They have a lot of things to look though ranging from antiques, furniture, video games, consoles, vintage games, records (not too much), knickknacks, and pokemon stuff. Parts of the store looked closed off so it would be nice to check out those areas. If you are interested in older nintendo and Xbox games, they have so many to look through!!!”

“There are a cavalcade of items from used furniture to appliances. There are hidden gems and hand-me-downs. While everything is not a winner, in this economy, you'll find a few pieces that might fit your aesthetic.”

“Best priced thrift in the area. They accept and have lots of furniture.Large formal & wedding dress section. Solid mens & women’s sections.Labels are hand written and it’s more of a locally run mom& pop style thrift.Spanish friendly.”

“Best place in the area to donate. They actually seem to care about the items and only take what they they think will find a good home. staffed by dedicated people and volunteers.”

“They have limited hours and limited stock, yet the quality is great and the staff are super helpful and kind.

Its non-profit so the prices are truly thrift cheap.

They have a large amount of kids clothing and books. The adult and selection is decent too. Not much furniture, but the assorted odds and ends are fun and worth checking often.”

“I shop here almost every Tuesday, 25% off for members. I have gotten some great things from designer bags, Lilly Pulitzer, Vineyard Vines, Lands's End, Under Armour and great household items. Sometimes you may just need a butter dish or a new teapot. Half the fun is finding something unusual.”

“I have just received the best customer service ever at the Goodwill on Old mill. The lady with the earrings in her face was very nice and actually helped me to locate something she'd overheard me speaking about. Thank you for making my day.”

“I called the number on Vietnam Veterans website and scheduled for my pickup. Pickup Please sent confirmation and reminder emails. Of course you get a nearly all day time slot, so the day they were supposed to come, someone rang my doorbell late morning. I was pleasantly surprised that the Pickup Please truck driver had all my stuff already loaded with one minor question for me. So efficient! Thanks!”

“Items are getting pricier and I found a pair of shoes listed for more than the original price that was still attached. I saw other items with the marshalls tag attached but the price ripped off... makes me wonder if it's purposely listed for more.”

“Very nice store. Selection is good in most departments. Men's department us a little disorganized however.Great variety of dvd's!!Household items very well stocked.Exercise equipment for the most part would all need to be repaired. However items such as walkers for the handicapped are in reasonably priced and usually in stockSuper friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff.”

“Some good finds but it was very sparse. They had furniture, clothes, a few books, games, housewares, accessories, and shoes. There wasn’t a huge selection especially for men’s clothes. I typically go to Savers in Towson which is much better but wanted to try this. It was fine.”

“The store is clean and neat
However this location and other Howard County location could use an improvement in donation hours
They stop taking items at 4pm on Sundays and don't take any donations on Monday and Tuesday. I feel these rules were implemented during Covid and Good Will Industries never got rid of them. Other counties have better donations hours and this location and other County location needs to align with them”

“Not the best one I've been to, but it's still a goodwill nonetheless, so it gets 5 stars from me! There aren't any half price sales though, which is a bummer, and it doesn't have the biggest selection either. Also, some of the items are overpriced (like $10 brand name t-shirts, glassware, etc.) but you can still find some good gems. Despite that, still a fun place to be.”

“I was on vacation and decided to do some thrifting here. One of the best decisions I made. I got 2 cute tops one from Charlotte Russe and the other from Target for 5 bucks each. Also found a gorgeous velvet tank for 3 bucks. Better goodwill prices than the Florida Goodwill stores.”

“If you want to find something unique and at a lower price, that's the place you want to go. They colored items every week. After one week, the prices will be 50% off automatically. After 3 weeks, the prices will be 75% off. So, if you want lower priced things, remember the color code and come back next week. Good luck if no one buys it.”
