Wow just received the worst customer service at 3D Nails & Day Spa in Jessup! The nail technician was fixing a nail and started ripping the acrylic off my nail I told him I don't want to damage my and it what he was doing hurt. I advise I wanted my nail soaked or use a nail tip to remove the left over acrylic. After removing part of the acrylic the technician told me flat out that I should just go to wherever I originally got my nails done he wasn't doing it. I was literally I there for less than 5 mins and receive the most unprofessional interaction ever. I will drive an hour to another nail shop before i give them my money! I wish i could give 0 stars

Amy and the entire staff of this salon consistently go above and beyond to wow me and give exceptional customer service every single time. I don't feel like just another customer, I feel like family. Service this attentive is rare to come by and will undoubtedly turn you into a repeat customer!

I've been here a few times, and had somewhat decent service. This past Sunday has proven otherwise. I went in for a pedicure, and wound up deciding on a gel manicure as well. Gel should last a while, right? Well, here we are on DAY 3, and both the gel manicure and my pedicure look awful. Lifting around the cuticles, and chipped polish on my feet. I went back to the shop to show them and hopefully recoup the $30, because it will cost me at least that much to have them taken off elsewhere, including tip. Nope! No refunds, just lots of insisting that I allow them to redo them even though I explained that this was for a special event and I didn't have the time for them to screw up again. I especially appreciated when the lady up front started picking at the lifted areas. If there was ever a case for buyer beware, THIS IS IT. Apparently acrylic nails is all they can manage to do decently.

I haven't had my nails done since I had my baby daughter almost a year ago. I'm so glad I came here! It was a total spa experience! My pedicure was so awesome, especially the sugar scrub massage ending with hot towels. I made my hubby get a pedicure, and his feet looked good enough to eat lol. He also got a mani which looked great! Nathan did my pedicure, full set, and eyebrows - all done with care and no rushing at all. Everyone was so nice and actually care about their customers. I will DEFINITELY be back. Thank you 3D! You made our day!

Got the classic pedicure ($25). Quick, courteous, paid attention to detail. No complaints, would come back.

Clean nice environment doesn't smell heavily of nail polish like so many nail salons do, for obvious reasons, which I found a please t surprise. The chairs are high quality with easy controls that work well. My nail artist did exactly what for asked for e ven with her extreamly limited english. Priced right to.

Hidden away in an unassuming strip of stores behind a Taco Bell, you may not even see this nail spa, but having been here twice now I can certainly vouch for the quality of service and consistency. They provide the usual services like most nail spas in the area at very reasonable rates and do a really good job. The waxing room is a little small and conjusted but they are very clean and thorough. The pedi stations are placed in a circle in the center of the salon along a water feature which is cute and the individual stations are very neat and comfortable. The technicians are super friendly and polite. Only qualm would be that they dont have a great selection of nail polish colors, or that they dont organize the colors in a way that makes it easy to find what you're looking for. But other than that I would definitely make this one of my goto spots when I'm in the area.

Update: it's just one lady who messes up nails! She is an older Asian lady who where's a pony tail. Went back and got acrylics and the man who worked there did a wonderful job

Recently changed their name to 3D Nails and Day Spa. Beautiful place. Very relaxing. Love that they do gel pedicures. I got the spa gel pedicure which was excellent. They were very meticulous and took their time. Such a relaxing experience and my nails came out great! Only thing is that I wish they didn't burn incense but I guess it's better than the token acetone smell of many salons. I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back!

Extremely pleased with service rendered (mani/pedi) today. Dave paid attention to most of the details for the most part. Two times I pointed out something minor, such as cutting one nail a little shorter and clipping an extra piece of skin off. He didn't hesitate to comply :). Overall, everyone was great and I'm highly pleased!! Reasonably priced. Tipped 30%. Cleanliness, I'd give them 4/5-to be clear, it was past closing & I'd go back. :).

This place was about to get a 5 until the manicure job wasn't that good and the owner was yelling at someone ok the phone while I was trying to check out. Everything DID start off great. The place is very clean and smells good. There are some pictures on here of crap on the floor so I looked while I was there and there wasn't any. The pedicure chairs are really nice and she also got the water temp perfect. The massage doesn't go all the way up your leg like most places I have gone, just to your foot and ankle. Same with the salt scrub and lotion. Pedicure was nice, did a great job on my toes but not so well on my nails. My manicure was about a 2 (yelp star scale). She dipped my hands in warm water for literally 3 seconds before she took both hands out am started with the cuticle lotion. Botched job on that, but didn't make me bleed so that's good! The filing was well done. The paint job not so good. She did go back with a brush and clean some off but there is still tons left. Not the cleanest paint job I have gotten. Didn't make a fuss about it because I'm not that type of person, and since it's on the skin it'll eventually scrub off as I was my hands. Checking out wasn't a smooth process. They do take cards and either have a spot to add a tip or tell you before they run the card. The manager was the one checking me out and was on the phone apparently upset at someone so she wasn't paying that close attention. When I asked if there is a way I can tip (I never vary cash) she sighed and said "You need to ask before I swiped your card". I'm sorry, yes I could have asked but I didn't know. So she had to void my last transaction and run it again which I was fine with. I at least wanted the tech to get a tip out of my pedi job. All in all it started out ok but went to "ehh, no thanks". I'll try another spot next time I'm in town. I gave them a 4/5 because their salon was very clean, nicely done, tech was sweet (even though job wasn't that good) and overall ambiance was fine. For a regular mani/pedi and callus removal was a total of $43.

Sapphire nails is my favorite place for a mani and pedi:) the girls in there know exactly how I like my nails done and even the colors I prefer! They take their time even if they see others are waiting. They update their polishes for the season and I love that. I've been to a couple of places before that keep the same selection forever... Things change folks, it's common sense. I use their tanning beds too. They are always clean and those fans in the rooms keep you cool while you get a nice power nap in the tanning bed. Sapphires is always updating their pedi chairs, the tanning bed bulbs and of course the seasonal polishes and designs. But their prices and familiar faces don't change! The owner is there every day and always smiling! Happy employees happy environment:) great place to be!

Having just moved to Maryland, I stalked Yelp before deciding where to even attempt to get a gel manicure. Back home in VB good salons are like 7-11s - but here it seems so suspect. After seeing the remodeled chairs & look of Sapphire, I took a chance. Customer service wise, it was alright. I felt like I got the 'quiet' one and had tech envy while I watched what seemed like a retired Hibachi chef crack jokes and light-heartedly hit on his customer across from us. The lady that did my nails did not speak much English, but did a decent job. My nails over-all looked pretty good. A few of my fingers had gel on them & if you don't pay attention to that it will stay there because of the hardening. I had to point it out to her several times. Eventually she realized I was not ok with this & went through and cleaned them up. I got them done over a week ago and they still look great, not counting a little growing out, which is normal.
