I purchased aI purchased a medium duty truck so wife and I could move ourselves to a a southern state for retirement, so I took the truck to Md. Truck Tire for state inspection. To make a long story short, I paid over $6,100.00 for a Md. state safety inspection, an oil/filter change, a complete exhaust system, a handful of light bulbs, and a repair on the truck box. They charged me for a right front brake hose that was not done, they did not replace the air filter as requested, they did not adjust engine belt tensions as requested, they did bot adjust the rear brakes as requested, they did not catch they loose drag link as required by Md. state inspection, and there may be other inspection issues I have not yet found, but the Maryland State Police Automotive Safety Enforcement Division may very well be able to find them. I am seriously contemplating contacting the ASED and have them get involved. To make the whole thing just a bit worse, Md. Truck Tire had the vehicle for a month, and we are on a timeline of sorts because we bought a home in Alabama and only have a given period of time to move.
