My friends hired Coleman to move some furniture from my house to their house (1000 miles away). I was there when they came to pick up the furniture. The crew (Winne and Terry) were excellent. They were careful with the truck in the driveway and very careful with the furniture. Each piece was wrapped. I was very impressed with them. I am giving 5 stars before the delivery, just based on the pick up and communication leading up to it. Thank you Coleman!

This moving service is the best among the services I have used. From the initial inspection to packing, traveling, unpacking, all the movers, organizers, and especially Julie who stays in touch with me throughout, are all very professional, timely and prompt in their responses and work efficacy.Despite moving across the country from Maryland to Nebraska, None of my furniture or belongings were damaged during the process. The price is very reasonable, and everything was delivered promptly upon the promised timeframe.100% recommend this service, and will definitely be using this company again!

BLUF, An absolute trash company. Unprofessional and ill equipmented for moving a household. Some of their members wore sandels and socks while moving the heaviest furniture of my delivery. They banged up the front door, walls, and door frames as their slippers slipped to the left and right. They were not properly trained and equipped.Additionally, they did not have access to the base and asked me to drive to the visitor center to escort them on base... then told me I had to escort the 2nd truck hours later. They expected me to allow them access to my home while I left to go to the visitor center to escort the second truck, and then got offended when I asked them to stop moving boxes in the home while I was gone.Furthermore, once the delivery was complete, over 20 boxes were unaccounted for. While I attempted to account for the missing boxes the lead members were upset that I was taking too long to sign the inventory saying all items were received. Their lead team members were verbally unprofessional and threatened their boss was going to call me. To expedite their departure, I opted to mark the unaccounted for boxes as missing on the inventory and again this made the lead team members upset. As I was marking the missing boxes as missing, again they voiced their anger that I was taking to long. Once all documents were complete, the team member stormed out of our home and slammed the door. ?.Hours of delivery state they are here to deliver between 0800 and 1700... they left at 1400ish.At the end of this review, the initial meeting of the first member told me all I needed to know about how this day was going to go. The guy didn't even say hello or make eye contact and acted like I was a burden because I had to escort him onto the base.Welcome back to America.

Scratched my wall, which I didn't notice until after the movers had left. When I called to report and discuss this, the General Manager was incredibly disrespectful and told me "well I see two signatures here... Next time, be more careful with your walk through." I called to report the scratch THE SAME DAY the movers came. GM didn't return my call until the next day, after I called twice.

Military PCS from Kansas, and they had one job: pack up our stuff. Didn't even do that. Two young men showed up, college-aged. They were both incredibly unprofessional when they finally arrived (unannounced, even though I was told they would call once they were leaving Junction City and were on their way), yelled at each other across the house, then argued with me about what they would/wouldn't pack after I had confirmed with their supervisor on the phone. We had multiple movers on the same day so I stacked up a pile of things inside an Amazon box, a diaper box and then a Target box, and I set aside the items for Coleman to pack and labeled everything to avoid confusion. One guy was supposed to pack the items in the kitchen, the other loaded up our clothes/pillows/sheets upstairs. The guy who loaded the clothes/pillows/sheets did an ok job but I suspect that's only because we were in the room with him. The guy in charge of packing the kitchen apparently sat there for a few hours doing absolutely nothing. Side note, I have half a mind to bill Coleman for my time since that clown certainly didn't do his job. On top of using my boxes (which I know for a fact they're not supposed to do), all that idiot did was tape up the boxes. My kitchen items (including glassware, knives, baking dishes, mugs) and my children's items (toys, baby seat) arrived in my Amazon and Target box with no paper, no wrapping, nothing. A literal monkey would have done a better job. The crib wasn't lashed or tied to anything, just haphazardly thrown in the truck and it arrived without screws and hardware. So I guess reading/using the ziploc bag that I labeled "crib screws/hardware" was just too hard. They also inventoried a laundry basket, which I put in the middle of the floor so they couldn't miss it, and they drove off without it. Absolutely feckless. But hey, the guy who did nothing made a point of telling my husband he was a K-State student so he was smart and he respected his mama. Thank goodness for that (sarcasm).

I moved from Jacksonville to CT and hired Allied Van Lines/Coleman. The price was the highest of four quotes I received. The moving consultant communicated with me on when my movers would arrive and assured me she would keep in contact me with the entire move. The movers arrived on the expected day and packed all of my items into their truck. None of my items were disassembled except for my sectional couch and the frame to my mattress. I was given an expected delivery date of 11/18–11/25.I was called and told that some of my furniture did not make it on the truck that it would come on an overflow. I received a call that my items will be delivered on 11/18 but still not the other overflow items. The driver of the truck that delivered my items said that when he picked up my items in Jacksonville he had only a 600 square-foot truck and told them that all of my items would not fit they told him to take the items anyway and they would put the other items in another truck and send it after. The day some of my items arrived which was 11/18 I was told I needed to give my cashiers check in full even though I was only being delivered half of my items. I spoke with the Director on the phone and she was very argumentative told me if I did not give the check they would send my items back for storage and then I would have to pay cash to get them out. She offered me no assistance as to when my other items would arrive and one of those items was my actual bed so I had at this point no bed to sleep in.One of my dressers legs was broken, two of my desks were taken apart and there was no part box of any of the tools. The driver instructed me that even though the people that loaded the truck did not disassemble my furniture they do it at the warehouse to fit it into vaults, but they’re supposed to have a part box where they put all of the hardware Unfortunately there was no hardware box to be found. They put my desk together but was still missing four screws which I now have to go out and buy and finish putting one of the desks together. I had a ladder shelf that was taken apart there were no tools accompanied with it and out of the four shelves one was missing. Also I was missing a white night table that was not listed on the next delivery that is coming.I was contacted via email by the Director telling me that my items were loaded in Jacksonville on 11/17 and gave me a tracking number to check my own delivery offering no assistance. My delivery shows that it will arrive by 11/28 so I have no bed at my new residence until then. The boxes were crushed and in horrible condition this move was not handled with care and the original sales rep that came out to my location in Jacksonville assured me that they do not broker out the moves and that everything is handled with the upmost care. I’ve been given no information on how to be reimbursed for a missing night table, a broken dresser and a missing shelf on my ladder shelf and no hardware which I am going to need a new ladder shelf which I am going to need to be reimbursed for. This was a one bedroom apartment moved and the cost was almost $5000. I have never seen such unprofessionalism and lack of care for people’s personal belongings. I would not use this company ever again.

Moving back from Hawaii I had zero problems with the moving crew delivering items. However, once I unpacked the house I made the call to Coleman for a box pickup and was told it can't happen because I waived it on the form. I asked if I can be provided with the form that I signed and noted that I waived a box pickup at a later date because I don't recall doing so. I got the form and I nowhere ticked the waive box (I've pcs'd twice and this is a first that a crew would have to unpack at owners request in order to take the refuse that same day). The gentleman that I was forwarded to after explaining how this has not happened in two PCS's told me "welcome to the military bud". A class act of leadership from a moving company, I hope he got his childhood dream of becoming manager on duty at a moving company.
