In stark contrast to another post office where they are unhelpful and won’t help you find or pack boxes. Thank you for the outstanding customer service!”
“I made my passport appointment here and it was super fast, it didn't take more than 10 minutes for my appointment. I did have to wait a bit for my turn but no more than another 5 or 6 minutes. It's a small place, all old fashioned but functional if you go at least for your passport's appointment.”

“This review is for passport services only. I visited the Lorton post office to apply for a passport. I arrived on time for my appointment, but the photo equipment was broken (which happens), so I had to go somewhere nearby to get my photos. That did not otherwise result in any delay in my application review and the solution was easy, so I didn't deduct any stars for that. It might be a problem for those trying to apply for a passport during walk-in hours, so I'd recommend coming with photos in hand just in case.
The postal worker was professional and patient and took great care to make sure the application and supporting documents were all present and correct. The worker clearly had had a lot of experience with the passport process and knew what to do to make sure the application made it through the State Department smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to go to this location for passport assistance again.”

“One of the best Post Offices I’ve been to. It might be because it’s on a Military Installation. The Post Master (Mrs. Alicia) runs a “tight ship”. All staff has consistently been courteous and helpful. Over the last year a lot of their retail staff have since changed which is why I am giving 5 Stars!!!”

“I had a lot of stuff to send (8 boxes total and 3 were heavy dive tanks). Elenor and Judy were fantastic and laughed and made it fun, even when the printer jammed (repeatedly). The location was so easy to get to, close parking and easy access to the counter. I drove out of my way (from Arlington), just to use this location, and I will do so again!! Great job ladies !!!”
“I've been here twice & I like it there. It's quite & not a lot of traffic. I hate going to the one in Woodbridge, where I have to wait almost 30 mins to get to the desk. Customer service there is nice as well.”
“I don’t know why this office gets low ratings. The representatives are friendly and I often have thoughtful conversations with them. The lines move fast. I have brought in large and often times heavy boxes to mail and their attitudes are so not change while handling these boxes. I always choose 12 day ground and the boxes usually arrive earlier. Five-star Service.”
