“This is the best hotel that my family has stayed in for at least three years. It was a great find, and a fraction of the cost of similar hotels off-base. We wished we could stay longer, and we'll stay there again if we ever go back to the area.Rooms: The division of the bedroom and bathroom from the living room and kitchen feels spacious and helps to organize yourself instead of just living from your suitcase.Safety: Since it's on an Army base, access is limited to personnel with proper identificationFood & drinks: The hot breakfast buffet hits the spot every morning. “My choice for my Staycation. Perfect location in regards to several tourist attractions in the Mount Vernon Virginia area. My room was comfortable and very clean. This hotel has been remodeled and it shows. It's beautiful. Hotel was peaceful and quiet. I slept soundly. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The Peloton bike was a great add on. Breakfast was hot and delicious with several choices. Great stay.”

“Will never stay at this hotel again the staff is very rude and have no prior knowledge of their policies. I was charged A $250 deposit for accidentals paid way more for that than I paid for a room for one night. I was told that my money would be released after checking the room, making sure everything was in order was told my money release in a few hours or even a few days they really think much of it and mind you. It’s been a whole month after calling and calling and calling no answer no nothing was told it got released but then again, I find it funny after a whole entire month it finally got canceled and finally got my money back . The rooms are nice don’t get me wrong but staff is unprofessional very rude. Don’t know their policies and management can never get back to you or probably there just want to hear my mouth at all. This is not the first time I’ve read that people were charge outrageous amount of deposits, and it seems to be I was the only one who got chosen to pay that huge amount that was way more than my room for one night, which is ridiculous will never stay here again.”

“While visiting friends and family between Christmas and New Year's, we found this hotel so nice that we came back to it during our trip. Nice King suites with a DOOR between the living room and the king bedroom. If we still had teens, this would have been great! Good bed, nice shower, all clean, good breakfast. I always appreciate seeing these eggs as the scrambled are too salty.”

It's right near a ton of shopping and restaurants so that is convenient. Not overpriced like other places and just as nice if not better. Love the shower!Safety: Security cameras are abundant so it feels like you're very safe.”

“My stay at the Candlewood Suites Alexandria-Fort Belvoir was very nice. I had a longer stay than usual due to an incident at my apartment and a negligent landlord, but I was very comfortable in my suite. The rooms are cleaned every seven days, but you can ask for anything you need at the front desk in the meantime. LaCanas was so nice and accommodating as well as the rest of the staff. LaCanas cares about the safety and experience of those who stay at the hotel and you can tell she takes her job seriously. She takes care of the guests and addresses any needs or concerns promptly. Very refreshing! I would be happy to stay here again.”
