Worst dg market ever! Dirty l, poor staff attitude, no posted sign warning they take no cash on door and don't find out till ready to check out with full arms or basket. Absolutely no politeness or customer service. With the exception of 1 or 2 employees customer treated like employees doing them a favor. Left more than $50 worth of merchandise when was told they were no taking cash and clerk did not offer to ring me up as tho it was a horrible thing to do. No apology or politeness from employee. See why they are shoplifted all the time. No customer courtesy or service. Employees must be dredged from the bottom of the rudest cesspool of human. Stay away. Do not spend hard earned money there. Buying any food takes your life at your own risk and peril. No loss if they close

This store has really gone downhill. There is always inventory everywhere but the shelves, never anyone at a register. And when they do finally come they are always on their personal phone. Employees having unprofessional conversations using profane language in the backnof the store while customers are shopping or waiting to be rung up. And in the back smoking

They stopped self checkout! Don't shop them if you are in a hurry! They didn't ask the customer before they did that!

This store is nasty and disgusting. You can’t even shop here! The aisles are blocked. Food just thrown in the refrigerators and freezers. Employees that are on the clock are talking on their cellphone loudly throughout the store. No customer service at all! Who ever manages this store needs TRAINING. This location is poorly managed.

I work down the street from this Dollar General and it’s the only at the end of Indian Head highway. It has provides groceries and other needs without one having to go 10-12 minutes up the road to food lion. This store normally has what I’m looking for but when I tell you this is one of the junkiest Dollar General I’ve ever been in. The people are polite and they’re nice but the store needs to be cleaned up; this is unacceptable in every way, shape and form and the people of Indian head Maryland deserve better. They should not have to walk into a store that’s this messy and can’t find something because it’s all in the, all purpose containers that has their shipment in them. The folks who work in this store, work with no urgency or diligence to get the product on the shelf now I could be wrong, there could be reasons for this but when I’ve gone in, no one is that busy they can’t working diligently to get things on the shelves because the store is never that busy. The store needs to be cleaned up but won’t and they probably will not lose customers because this store is needed in Indian head, Maryland so the people are just accepting of it. The people in Indian head deserve a clean, organized store.

It's OK for the items available, space is limited, customers don't respect the place. They don't care if they leave items where they don't belong. It's really ashame the way customers trash this store, and disrespect other Customers and the Store.

It's better than the Bryans Road store. I wish they'd remove produce before it goes bad. It's pretty gross to go in the "market" area and see rotten stuff.

The store are extremely crowded. To the point that you cannot walk safely. I do however like the variety of choices that they have at this location. I just wish I could actually access the products..

This store is a hot mess!!! Every time I turn around they closing for 2 days to stock shelves, never heard of a store doing that!! So unorganized and junkie, candy isle empty, boxes everywhere, items all over the floor and self checkout never working!! Mangers definitely not doing there job. Whoever is running the DG market in fort washington, needs to come here and get this one together asap.

I don’t even know why they remodeled the store is always dirty and never has essential things like eggs milk bread!! The employees don’t care about their job. But hey that’s what I get for going to dollar general. Avoid this dirty nasty location.

The store does seem to be a little cleaner recently. Most of the staff are helpful and friendly. One older lady, she has gray hair she is not a friendly person. I have needed her help a couple of times, the last time I asked her a question was 9/23. There we're 13 people in the line, she checked in an order then proceeded to sing while dusting. The lady passed by me I made the comment they could use another cash register open, she snapped and said smart back to me but within 5 min. she opened another register.One other time this September it was about 7:30 I walked in and 3 bikes were inside the doors the kids middle school age were talking with a D G representative.My opinion only, find a manager who can handle the staff, get the store straight, be there for the customers. Pay the money to get it together, that store thrives.
