“2019-present..I’ve worked in the largest NEX which is in Norfolk, VA. That NEX is the best out of many that I’ve visited. The new second level is nice and enhances the shopping experience. I've visited quite a few bases in the DMV. Quantico, Bolling, Andrews, Walter Reed, Meade, and Paxtuet are all absolutely nice. I’ve been to Ramstein AB in Germany, and each NEX has their own uniqueness. This NEX has a few nice shops in it and always something great to find in here. As a wife of a military veteran, military sibling, and former military employee, I have always loved the military community.”
“As a woman of color it’s often difficult to find the correct foundation shade. Abby asked the right questions and was knowledgeable about the right products for my skincare needs. She worked through three different brands to help find the best shade for me instead of just suggesting I mix them. She was patient and made good suggestions without being pushy.”

“Last week was looking for Cherry Juice, natural no sugar added, which we take for digestion. Found it at the Route 1 store, I asked at the Information desk & nothing appeared in their computers, the receptionist could not assist me. I have had issues with a knee and was wearing a knee brace. I decided to do the long painful walk & then I asked a lady who seemed to me as a supervisor where I could find the Fruit Juices, she was very kind and offered to walk me where they are, and thanks to her I was able to buy the 9 or 10 boxes, of 8 bothes of 2 quarts each, I paid some $6 each bottle for my family an friends. The lady then helped me get a huge cart & get all the boxes on it, helped me push it to the cashiers, and then helped me place the heavy boxes in my car, I asked her which department she works for, to my surprise she is Retired!!! and she is very proud of spending her own time to help at Costcoor anyone who needs help..I was amazed at the kindness without ny type of interest neither of recognition nor of monetary reward!! Her name is Ms Jennifer or Jenny and is local from Alexandria. I just have to say thank you Ms angel with wings at Costco, thanks to her I got what I needed and happily made the effort to pay the over $300 at my local Costco !!! AM”

“I was getting my walk in during the mall walkers hour at the mall but Nordstrom had opened early for the holiday season and I noticed they had hats 70% off so I went in and bought one and then finished my walk. It was great!”

“Walmart on Richmond Highway near Cost offers a wide variety of products for home, office, kitchen, gym, and kids. While they do not consistently stock fresh fruit, their staff is exceptionally helpful and the store is very clean. They provide a great range of items for different needs, making it a convenient choice for shopping across various categories.”

“Pretty plates, chargers and bowls!!! This Spritz heart shaped place setting went viral this year on TikTok and Facebook. Luckily I was able to get some at Target to complement my Valentines table setting. I tried a couple of designs and they both came out pretty❤️”

“FD Drivers: Excellent, friendly staff. EASY AS HELL backing. Don't go in the entrance that takes you in front of the Plaza, go to the next one, there is a ton of room to spin around and conventional back to the dock.”
“Good place for women's clothing, good quality and different styles, just what a woman needs can be found at jcpeney, a little more expensive but well worth it. Like blouses, dresses, pants, you can find them there in different sizes and tastes. The only detail and inconvenience is that there are not enough ATMs, only 1 or 2 if there are 5 customers, the line does not leave until after an hour to an hour and a half.”
“I love this target, although it doesn't carry/stick as many items as other targets I like how efficient they are. My curbside pick ups are extremely fast, they always come out under a minute with a friendly smile. That's why I keep going back!”

“This is the place to be for all Halloween related stuff. I saw at least 3 aisles dedicated to nothing but Halloween costumes and decorations. And then there is the candy aisle. I picked up two boxes of Sweetish Fish for $1.24 each, and you would be very hard pressed to find candy that affordable these days. My primary reason for coming here today was to get a pair of carpenter pants, and at the same time check out some of their sweatshirts. Fall came in like a lion yesterday, and the temperature has definitely dropped enough where I can feel it! While I was in the men's section I noticed several very nice flannel shirts, as well as. Long sleeve thermal crew shirts for only $12.00! I couldn't find the white color here, but I will definitely check out one of their other locations for the white thermal shirt. The place was super busy today, but it didn't take long to use the self serve check out. I especially like this store because of the adjacent grocery section.”
“It's Costco store is pretty clean. Seems like everybody is always in a rush to get everybody moving through customer service people are always friendly always nice selection and a great value. If you know what you're looking for overall the staff is really nice the tire section also has a good staff as well as the pharmacy.”

“Went in to make a return and wound up buying a new wardrobe. Usually don't find much here but it was a pleasant surprise and the store was actually pretty neat and tidy today. Guess it pays to go mid-week.”
“This review is for the bakery section. They did a great job on my daughter's birthday cake and cupcakes. The whole cake was an 8" double layer chocolate strawberry for $17.98 and the dozen vanilla cupcakes were $7.97 + tax. The bakers frosted half the cupcakes with regular buttercream and the other half with whipped buttercream. Everything tasted great; just be sure to check your order before you leave the store. At first the cupcakes were bare, but I reminded the employee that they were supposed to come with the little toppers from the Peppa Pig page in the catalog book.”
“I had a flat tire today and was unable to pump air due to me accidentally taking all the air out! So basically Anthony from the tire dept saw me struggling and didn’t even hesitate to help me, I’m definitely going to get my tire service here he was too nice, Costo give this man a raise and keep him!”

“I usually find what I'm looking for in here. Today it was bath mats and "prizes" for my grandkids milkshake competition. I usually find stuff I don't need, too. I like that they are open early so I can run in before the mall opens so it's not busy.”
“We just went for flu and Covid booster shots. We asked and we're directed to the pharmacy, were greeted by a tech within seconds and got both shots easily and quickly. Key was registering online with the vital information needed. It took less than 30 min for 2 of us to each get two shots. The pharmacist couldn't have been nicer nor the tech. Thank you. Oh and we got cookies and icecream to celebrate .... Bluebell and Samoas at a much better price than elsewhere! What's not to love.”

“Top notch craftsmanship at an unlikely location. The Indian Head NEX hosts master barber, Mr. Ronel. Every one of the half dozen haircuts I’ve received so far has not only exceeded my expectations of a military exchange but of any barbershop I’ve ever visited. The man has an intuitive sense for what the customer wants and an understanding of style. Shear work and clipper work are both 5 star quality. Highly recommend the trip if you have access to this exchange.”
