“FX Collision paint-matched a plastic, after-market spoiler perfectly, making it look identical to my aluminum Mustang, removed the OEM 'spoiler delete' and the back-up camera mounted in it, installed the spoiler and the back-up camera, and calibrated the camera so it functions and displays exactly as before. Their shop being co-located with Wraps on Whips was very helpful in that I could take the car into one place to get a spoiler installed by FX Collision and the stripes installed by Wraps on Whips at the same time.”

In July 2024, I was in a no fault, low impact, front end collision with my 2020 Subaru Forester. The insurance company directed me to one of the network body shops for an estimate and subsequent repair (Shop 1). They replaced the hood, bumper and grill. After repairs were completed and the vehicle was returned, I took it to a Subaru autobody shop who reviewed their work (Shop 2). They detected the hood was misaligned, the hood latch was not closing evenly, the upper grill was not aligned, no hood heat insulator, and the paint on the bumper was "dry".
The vehicle went back to Shop 1 for corrective work. After Shop 1 returned the car, Shop 2 reviewed their work again and the issues were not corrected. I returned to Shop 1 two more times for corrective work. After the third visit, it was clear that Shop 1 was not in good faith attempting to repair the vehicle to pre-collision condition. Shop 1 and Shop 2 shop managers were in disagreement how to bring the vehicle to pre-collision condition.
I needed another independent professional auto body shop to review Shop 1's repair work. I was referred to Premier Collision Repair (PCR) by my Subaru dealer.
On September 30, Sebouh, owner of PCR, immediately made time to review my vehicle. It was brought into the shop, drove it into the bay, and several team members reviewed my vehicle.
The Premier team found the front bumper paint was dry and orange peel was apparent, paint was bubbling on the bumper from paint preparation, the hood had a poor refinish, it was dry and dirty, the hood and grill were misaligned and there was poor blending of the paint, and no attempt was made to match the bumper and hood paint to the side front panels. Additional damages that Shop 1 missed, were detected by Premier's shop technicians by peering through the grill -- a broken shutter, a damaged radiator bracket was pushed back and the tie bar was bent -- Unbelievable.
The insurance claim was escalated and approved for the corrective work at PCR.
The shop manager, Vick worked closely with the insurance company estimator and preparation of paperwork. He provided me constant updates as to the progress of my vehicle's repair. He welcomed all questions. He was quick to return calls and answer emails. He educated me on the repair process. I could not have been happier.
Sebouh was frequently checking in with me to make sure I was satisfied with the progress.
When the vehicle was returned to me, it looked like the day I drove it off the Subaru lot. I was so pleased!!

“Have been meaning to leave feedback for Johan and his team. I can’t say enough positive things about Kolex. We originally used them a couple of years ago when my wife and I were both rear ended in the span of a couple of months in our relatively new Teslas. Having searched the web for local places we took a chance on Kolex without much familiarity with their business. We could not have made a better decision. Johan was an absolute professional through the entire process. He kept us updated consistently and made sure the insurance headache was no headache at all. His team did fantastic work and both of our cars looked great by the time they were done.
Fast forward a couple of years and my Tesla has been replaced by an EV9. I had some damage to the rear view mirror (this time my fault). The Kia dealership wanted me to sign a quote for up to $2300 in case they needed to replace the entire mirror, paint, and whatever other non-sense they were up charging me (for a part that cost $40).
I took the car back to Johan. He inspected the vehicle and told me there was absolutely no chance I should pay the dealership quote. Within a week they had ordered the part, painted it, and replaced the old damaged frame. No need to replace the entire mirror. Final cost - $250. And the cherry on top was the cleaning and detail they did that could have easily been worth a hundred dollars by itself. Car came back looking better than I left it with them.
Again, as a small business owner myself we far too often only hear from clients when they have an issue and rarely when the business provides excellent service. Johan Rosas and his team at Kolex are truly excellent to work with and should be commended for the quality and care they show their customers. A+ business top to bottom.”
