Aside from our regular visits to VVOU, our dog had an emergency on Monday and we were able to be seen right away. The issue was resolved, and our dog is doing much better. THANK YOU for great service and immediate attention. The best!!!!

We highly recommend Village Vet of Urbana. We’ve taken our dogs there for several years now for routine care. Some of our dogs have had complicated medical issues, as well, and Village Vet helped us navigate our treatment options. The vets and all the staff are caring and easy to talk to.

We love Village Vet of Urbana! The staff is wonderful - very knowledgeable, kind, and clearly loves animals. We always have great experiences there with our two dogs and have recommended them to all the local pet owners in our lives. Highly recommend this vet practice!

We've had wonderful experiences with them with our puppy so far!! Super patient and sweet and loving with our corgi. Quick to do anything they can to make life easier for us. Full of great information and they don't rush me out of appointments. They have been on time, every time, and they send me reminder texts when we need to come back for boosters. I can even text back to make the appointment, which is super convenient for when I'm working.I had a short list of recommended vets from my friends and I had an extremely difficult time even getting two other vets on the phone (and both couldn't see a new puppy for many weeks!) I then tried Village Vet. They answered my call, understood that the vaccines and roundworm meds were time sensitive for our new puppy, and got me in for an appointment right away. When I called later that night about his crying, they reassured me he probably felt bad after his vaccines and he'd be okay the next day. Sure enough, he woke up chipper and with the zoomies. I was so appreciative of their responsiveness to my call! They even doubled check with the vet, who called me back knowing it was our first dog, to let me know that Momo would be fine and vaccines can make them feel pretty rotten for a day.In November they sent a Black Friday email out that got me huge discounts on heart worm, flea and tick meds as well as his puppy food. Totally unexpected but very appreciated! Saved me almost $70 in one stop. This is our first dog and we have loved the care at Village Vet.

Dr. Miller is absolutely wonderful! The techs are fantastic! My senior cat isn’t the happiest to be around when it’s time to get blood drawn and she lets them know how she feels about it but they are always pleasant and caring. Communication is great! Thanks Village Vet for taking such good care of Allie!

Wonderful experience today at Village Vet of Urbana. Friendly, knowledgeable, and caring staff. The clinic is immaculate and inviting. I came for an emergency visit this morning and the staff took their time evaluating my dog and went above and beyond to take care of us today. Highly recommend.

Again and again and many times over- this clinic deserves more than 5 stars! The knowledge of the Dr. And her staff bares no comparison to others- especially for parents who have kids with special abilities and requires patience, kindness and gentle guidance and advice. The quality of service is no match- and having two kids now nearing the teen years- you hold on to those doctors that can deliver on all fronts. Additionally, the clinic itself is not just your normal clinic- it’s a place of care. I applaud Dr. Chehab efforts in creating a healthy and welcoming environments for parents of all age groups. Her latest addition to in house nursing room just goes to show that she thinks of every detail. Her knowledge of new treatments and her ability to explain in simple terms is another great trait. Her staff are professional and truly embody how good leadership results in a effective and functional team. I can go and on and on and wouldn’t give Dr. Chehab and her team enough credit. Thank you for embodying the essences of a true professional, kindness and generosity. Best, Randa, Zach& Lili

I will never bring my dog back here. There was not a single interaction where we got accurate information or pricing over the phone unless we were talking directly to the vet.Very expensive and overcharge everytime. "Review your bill before you pay, you'll see what it is."We got a new puppy and wanted to try this company for all their services. Every single time we called and talked to them when we were not talking to the vet we received the wrong information. This included vaccine schedules, boarding, day camp, training/puppy preschool. The vet is awesome, she worked with us through vaccine schedule. If it weren’t for their front desk/phone and inability to provide accurate information I would be fine.

We brought our Trixie in today after suspicions of her eating something she shouldn't have. The Village Vet scheduled us to arrive in less than 2 hours of our phone call, always appreciated. We were required to wear masks inside - no problem. Trixie received a thorough check for her issues and they didn't at all complain with Trixie's fussing and trembling. Fortunately this wasn't a horrible situation, but you never know with dogs. We should be good to go now, but we'll get a follow up call to double check on our little fluffy family member. Best of all, we were in and out in less than 1/2 hour!

I took my golden retriever in yesterday because she was vomiting over and over. Dr. Robin was able to assess her logically and explained everything. She treated her and today she is much better. I loved Germantown Vet and now I am going to the sister office. Everything went seamless. Thank you Dr. Robin for finding the problem, kindness, and for your professionalism. I highly recommend the practice. Dr. Lucy Tidd owns both offices and always been helpful with our animals.

I have had nothing but exceptional experiences with this vet. My dog is extremely nervous at the vet and does better in the back for exams but I asked at our last visit I asked if we could at least start in the room with me to see how he would do, and they were so so patient and kind with him and he did really well! I know it’s much more efficient to take him in the back and do the exam and there are many vets where they are too busy to take the time to work with a dog like mine, but Village Vet will! I’m so thankful to have found a vet that will take the time to sit on the floor with him and help him feel comfortable, moving slowly, lots of treats and kind voices etc. In just the last 2 visits I’ve seen a huge improvement with his comfort level and anxiety in the office and exam room. All that on top of clear, logical medical advice, even with a dog with very odd medical concerns!

i just stopped in the village vet to pick up some insulin for my 11 yr old pug pup. they said they were too busy to get it for her. I explained I did not have enough to get through the weekend and i would wait. the receptionist politely explained to me that waiting would not help, while looking down upon me as if we were not worthy to breath her air. They refused my dog her life saving medicine rather than taking 2 minutes between clients to provide her with her insulin, which they prescribed to her. I had previously picked up her insulin and while doing so asked for 2 bottles in case there was an accident and the 1 was broken. They refused unless I did some kind of $600 glucose all day test. Now, I understand that test is important, but for a normal person it is very expensive. I had intentions on doing it because i love my pup and she needs it. But the fact that the test is more important than the life of my dog is insane !!!!!! These people only care about their MONEY, they do not LOVE our pets. They think their stuff doesnt stink. "MONEY OVER LOVE", welcome to Village Vet of Urbana.
