This farm is an absolute 10 out of 10! We love coming here. It is very opened and never crowded. We have just started coming here this year and have been to multiple events. Tonight we went to Trail of Jack-O-Laterns and the staff was AMAZING! I really wish I got the names of the employees that I am about to write about so that they could be acknowledged. I was at the concession stands when I needed hot water to warm up a bottle the young man didn’t have hot water there. Another employee was waiting in line to get a drink when she said she could get me hot water from another location. She ran out while I was waiting for the rest of my stuff to be finished and came back with warm water for my little guys bottle. I am so thankful for her to go out of her way to do that for us! While in the barn we were looking at the newly mama pig and her babies a younger blonde hair girl was there. She just talked to me all about her and her littles and she didn’t seem annoyed by my questions and was happy to talk to me. Next we looked at the bull and another young brunette employee just came up to tell us all these facts about him. It was great! This farm makes me feel like it’s one big happy family and that they just want people to be apart of all they have to offer. I also feel like the extra things they provided tonight was at a reasonable cost like the light up toys and trick or treat bags. It was all under $5 and didn’t charge you a ridiculous price like other places. Thank you for all that you do to care for the people coming in to the animals you have ❤️

Exorbitantly expensive, for not a lot of value. When you walk up to the ticket booth, there are no prices posted. We were charged EIGHTY DOLLARS for our family of five. It left us feeling robbed. There was a nice hay ride,, a 15 second pig race, and a petting zoo. Very little food available, no corn maze or bouncy castles - the whole family was bored, hungry and frustrated.

We absolutely love this farm. Although we’ve visited here plenty of times previously this was our first year at the jack-o-lantern trail. It was so much fun! I was thoroughly impressed! It’s worth every penny, do not hesitate visiting this farm!

Great place for children and animal lovers of all ages. There is a wide variety of animals, from pigs and goats to a bison and wallaby! Fall activities include a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch and kid-friendly games. A bit pricey for a petting farm, but the facility is well-maintained, the animals appear well cared for and staff seem devoted and eager to share information with visitors. Highly recommend this place.

The kids had a good time and there are plenty of good activities here but honestly I wouldn't bring black children here again, there were sooooooo many micro aggressions that was noticed amongst us moms from the staff! Such as the young lady deliberately only picking white children to participate in the pig race, another woman telling black children that if they weren't petting animals they needed to leave out of the enclosures and at the concession stand a woman addressing a child that was saying he wanted a drink to his mom saying "you have to buy things, nothing is free" I'm disgusted by this behavior. It's a wonderful place but black children shouldn't be treated differently

I had such a great day taking my son here! You can touch so many different types of animals and my son loved the pig race and hay ride! The staff was very kind and knowledgeable!

The staff is very friendly and answered all the questions my 4 year old niece asked about baby goats, guinea pigs, and piglets. :)It has a nice restroom and picnic tables. Fall decorations are nice.

We came here today with two small kids. One is three and the other is just under two. I am really torn between a 3 and a 4 star review. First I would like to say the animals look well taken care of and happy. I really loved that they let animals walk around which is really cool! I was a little confused as to why a kangaroo and wallaby were there since the whole place was a farm setting. We watched the pig race and it was kind of underwhelming and the hayride was nice but it wasn't much to see as it was through some trees and pretty much back to where you started. Lastly the bees in the rented areas were aggressive. I get it we are on a farm. Bees are part of nature, but we were literally swatting five plus bees away every five seconds. Overall it was ok experience, but we wouldn't go out of our way to go here again.

My family and I drove from out of county to Green Meadows so our kids could enjoy the farm. We made a quick stop so the kids could use the bathroom and arrived at 3:15. We had purchased tickets through groupon and today was the last day for them to be used. Upon arrival we were advised that all entry into the farm needed to be done by 3pm at the latest. We literally arrived a few minutes late due to the bathroom stop yet the staff wouldn’t make any exceptions. Our kids were beyond upset and my daughter began to cry. I plead with the staff to see if any exception could be made and she shut it down instantly. I tried calling a supervisor and low and behold, the person who answered the phone was the same lady who shut us down just 3 minutes prior and waved at me while talking to me on the phone. It basically added insult to injury. We’ve been to this farm at least a dozen times and were planning on buying seasons passes for my family but after the cold hearted denial of entry today we will not be back again. Truly disappointed in Green Meadows and how they handled this situation.

Awesome large farm. Had a kid party there. Very family friendly farm. Well organized and lots of farm animals to see and feed. The staff were amazing. There are free hay rides and a pumpkin patch too. The birthday party was under a tent. Very clean farm and a lot of birthday parties going on under several tents. The restrooms were very nice and clean. A lot of hand washing stations call around the farm as well. This place is a gem of Frederick located right on Rt. 80 near Prices Distillery Rd. next to Urbana. The address states the farm is located in Ijamesville. GPS takes you right to the farm. Parking is in a grass field right off of Rt. 80. Getting around in a wheelchair may be a little difficult but I'm sure if you call the farm they could accommodate you. Their website has a lot of helpful information on a lot of questions one may have.

It's okay, small farm with large animals. It's cute but my family and I didn't last much longer than an hour. There is a 13 dollar charge per person excluding babies. There is a tractor ride through the woods about 5 minutes long. Cows, horses, dogs, buffalos, pigs, goats, birds. Pretty simple. There is small concession stand with limited selling items.

Absolutely can't say enough about this place, we loved every minute here! ❤️ This farm has everything from pig races to hay rides. My favorite of course was the goats ?. I also found a hidden gem here, my petite concrete bench! Yes! They have outdoor garden varieties for your home too. You must come check this place out, something for everyone here. An added bonus real bathrooms no dons John's here, lol.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and super kid friendly. Take advantage of their Friday evening Barnyard Band and Booze events! Super fun, byob and food (or patronize one of the brewery/winery/food truck options). Plenty of shade/tents/picnic tables and plenty of space to accommodate a lot of people and not feel crowded. Highly recommend.
