Very hit or miss! They have lost several of my packages and never seem to know where they are! (Are one of the mail carriers stealing them?).The people at the front desk are almost always of no help! They give you a phone number to call and hardly no one picks up the phone.I got very lucky and was able to get through to someone who said they would call me back and I still don't have any answers today!

I always hoped that everything would change, the employees there because they are selfish, they don't like to speak Spanish knowing that all of us who are there won't know how to speak English but the old lady knows how to speak Spanish and it doesn't help at all, put other employees there because bad service

Long lines, doesn't open on time. This always my least favorite place to mail items. Again today it's 15 minutes after they should have opened and still not open. Employees ignoring knocks on the door. Rarely helpful here. Go to downtown Takoma Park if you can.

We are so fortunate in this country to have a postal service to send letters and packages.

This is the worst postal office out of every one I’ve been too, lines always backed up for one worker, all workers have been rude and they always have extra restrictions that I’ve never even heard about from the other postal offices. Last place you should go to.

This is a horrible post office. The employees are mean, passive aggressive and rude. They are not at all helpful. They left a group of us waiting in line and were just standing in the back talking! How rude is that?

Currently here waiting in line with 7 other customers. The woman at the front left and is now in the back chitchatting with her coworker. We can hear them from here. Nobody has been attending to us in over 10 minutes.

A bit of a wait while one of the two employees was working g on some other mail/material sorting/movement. Frustrating that this has to be done while customers wait in line.

Employees are likely overworked so I can’t say much about the customer service but something needs to happen to make this place more efficient. I stood in line for an hour just to buy stamps.

Update: As of 8/2021, this post office no longer sells stamps and no longer gives customers receipts for prepaid mail, presumably because they think they can run the place more efficiently that way. This particular branch was worthy of a compliment months ago ( in which I specifically complimented Mr. Dave and Ms. Jasdeep) until a clerk with an attitude problem joined ( I believe Dominique is her name based on a previous reviewer’s comment; unlike her more professional colleagues, she doesn’t wear a name badge - hmmm, I wonder why? ) and ruined my experiences here. I caught her muttering under her breath about the fact that my zip code on my prepaid items was different from the Holton Lane zipcode. Note: I had been regularly getting receipts for the last two years from Mr. Dave and Ms. Jasdeep WITHOUT any hassle and they have seniority over the clerk with an attitude.I even went so far as to contact the Inspector General about the issue of acceptance receipts, which can be used for tax purposes or simply as proof that USPS accepted your package. A tracking number is NOT proof that your item was accepted. In the event that your package is lost or stolen, you will be s#!+ out of luck without a postal receipt.
