My experience at the Loc Shop is fantastic! The happiest I’ve been in decades. I love my Loc Specialist, she is the best; the staff, they are all kind and they work together nicely which adds to the inviting atmosphere there; and the shop is simply beautiful, I enjoy being there. Shawntice Is my specialist. She is awesome! I am allergic to nearly all hair products and my hair is thinning at the crown. I’ve had difficulty in the past with a few shops dealing with my special needs. Shawntice is like a breath of fresh air. She made me feel comfortable with my condition and she took care of my locs and scalp with great care and skill. She is fantastic! If you have healthy hair and scalp, she is fabulous. And I personally can say if you have a special situation with you hair and/or scalp, she will listen and work with you to give you the best care for your locs. Win-win all around.

I’ve gone to several locticians before coming to the Locshop, and none have been as professional and consistent as Shawntice has been. I am always happy with her services and how good my hair looks after leaving her chair. She is always on time and values my time. She is very knowledgeable about her craft, and I trust her judgement. This was my first visit to the Loc Shop, and I went on a Friday afternoon. The wait time was minimal. I was warmly greeted upon arrival and promptly directed to a chair for a hair wash. Shawntice, my loctician, was both professional and polite. The shop was clean, had a relaxed ambiance, and the overall customer service was excellent.
