Good Day. There is a problem with this staff not assisting the needs for people. There phone lines constantly ring busy on any phone line in which they do n9t answer the lines. They need to correct this. Terrible customer service..smh

I keep trying to call the provided number but it’s saying I’m calling after normal business hours. It’s 9:30am on a Wednesday . It’s say they open at 8:30am

The salvation army has a satellite parking lot on Decatur St. Every night about 5 pm people congregate and drink and smoke. Neighbors have talked to the salvation army but they have given no help. They are aware they may be dangerous and tell their employees not to talk to them. And the salvation army says I need to call the police. So I do. But them that puts the onus on me to police their property to ensure my safety. Other neighbors have expressed the same concern. The director won't return my call. Does anyone have suggestions about how to hold the salvation army accountable for their property and the safety of neighbors and employees?

I’ve used this location two times prior. I’m doing a move in a couple of weeks and wanted to see if I should drop it off or if this location had recent date to choose from for pick up. I called around 11 am; THREE times. The first time the phone just rang and then I was hung up on. The second time I was transferred, again pick the phone up and hang up. Called back AGAIN and “John” informed me that the side that schedules the donations wasn’t picking up so I said I’ll just call back. I call back it’s now 3:30pm and I asked the gentleman “could I schedule a pick up or is no one answering the phone still?” He proceeded to try and say “well it’s bc the phones keep ringing and how we “customers” are calling all day. That isn’t my problem nor my fault you’re there to do a job- period-and the snide comments keep that s* to yourself. Had he communicated better I would’ve informed him I was just inquiring if they had a sooner pick up date and if not I’ll just bring the items in myself. When he gave me a date of November 20th I told him I’d just drop it off personally- he responds with a smart laugh as if I wasted his time. Do better. Not enough employees for the amount of work coming in then sit down and figure out a plan because this is unacceptable. If I would’ve cussed him out I’d been wrong- can’t find good customer service anywhere these days

Never got any help at all still trynna find help I filled out two applications and never got any help just because your kid is an adult doesn’t mean you don’t need the help

This place is really a blessing to people in need of assistance to maintain their lives in paying of their utilities ect. The worker's are kind and understanding will lift your spirits with encouragement, and they are compassionate people trying to help those are in need. Thanks to God for them all.
