I always bring guests here- grab a coffee, walk through the gallery, and shop the locally made art gifts. I drool monthly over the workshops but haven't gotten to one yet bc kiddo schedules. All the staff are super friendly and helpful!

Inside a 1925 theatre in historic Hyattsville is an arts center with local makers, a storefront and a second floor art gallery. My five-year-daughter and I visited on a Friday morning and we had a blast! She loved meeting a few of the makers, many of them women. The art gallery is small but mighty and the storefront sells cards, calendars and so much more. There's even a little Hyattsville museum inside. There's a parking lot with paid parking spots for all nearby.

Wonderful organization with many options for art classes, both online and in person, fantastic art shows in their gallery, and a lovely little gift shop. All staff is friendly and so helpful! Highly recommend.
