I respect that they are backed up. The lack of urgency and empathy is unacceptable though. The small gentleman in there was short and condescending with me a couple moments ago as I tried to fill a prescription. He's behind the counter with all of the shutters down clearly working. When I asked him to take my prescription he didn't even look at me. He just remarked \\\"we're closed until 2 sir\\\" in the snarkiest way imaginable. I asked where is that stated? He directed me to this dingy sign that you'd only know to read, if you knew to read it. On the sign all you can make out is 2. He explained they do lunch 1:30-2. I got there at 1:36 and he was in the process of handling pills. Our conversation carried on an I expressed to him I couldn't wait or return by 2. He shut me down at each appeal. If he was having a little lunch I wouldn't have continued asking, but he was clearly working. Irregardless I'm thankful this interaction took place at this stage in my life. Had we crossed paths in a similar capacity I may have acted emotionally. Thank god for growth.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever experienced. I walked in to get prescription for pain after an accident, immediately the manager and another staff started lurking and counting all the items around me. They started labeling all the items which implies that because I am black I would steal, then the Pharmacy staff on the other side of the counter made mockery of me referring to me as a chuwawa with muscles. I almost pressed charges, but was too much in pain to continue. Close this racist store down.

I wish I could give no stars . The customer service at the pharmacy was unprofessional and rude. I really have in mind to switch to a different location, so I won’t have to experience the customer service that I received at this store 5621 Sargent Rd Hyattsville, Maryland . The pharmacy manager , Njualem he’s needs better training how to speak to his customers.

The gentleman there has no any willingness to serve his customers. He let me to stay in line for 20 minutes and later told me to to make an appointment. I have to go home without getting any help from this man and his attitude was bad. He better serve his customers who mostly are patients, or let others sever them. His coworker, Rebecca, was trying to help customers who have complained. Rebecca deserves a better coworker than this gentleman. If there is any management team reviewing this comment, the date and time was: October, 7th 2022 at 12:45 PM.Thank you!

Worst CVS location. They never answer the phone and take literal hours to pickup a prescription that's already been filled. There have been times when they turn off the phone lines to not help customers.

My son and I had to get covid tests and the Pharmacist was great at explaining everything to me and coaching me through performing the test on my son.

This particular CVS location is one of the worst. The last two times I went to go pick up medicine it has been a couple of the most horrible experiences I've had at any CVS. The first time I was at the store they told me my medication wasn't ready when my doctor had already called in the prescription. They told me it hadn't been authorized by the pharmacist yet and recommended me to come back later that day. I returned later that day and waited about an hour only to be told it wasn't in stock but they did end up finding at least one bottle. It's a shame when you don't even know how much inventory you have. They also mentioned one reason they were behind is that they claimed the pharmacy had been closed for several days for whatever reason. I personally have not seen that pharmacy (not the store) closed for several days at a time. The second time (which was the next month I had to get medication) was pretty similar to the first time. Meaning I was waiting at the store for about an hour before I was told that the pharmacist needed to authorize the prescription even though my doctor has put in the prescription two weeks prior. After waiting some more time I was told it was out of stock and I had to go to another CVS to get it. They sent it to the other CVS where I had to travel some extra time and distance to get to but at least they had it ready immediately. I should note that again they told me that the reason for such a backup was that the oh racy had been closed for several days for some reason. I think it's pretty clear why things are so out of order in this particular CVS location. They don't have enough staff to handle all the duties and be more response for ensuring things run as smoothly as possible at this CVS. They have one person (the pharmacist) running both the prescription area as well as giving vaccines. So there's also backup for people who come in to get vaccines even when they have appointments which is required at this CVS location. I told the staff that CVS should contract a company with trained nurses to come out and be present and manage the vaccines while the pharmacist and other staff are handling the prescription area of the pharmacy.

I have been going to this pharmacy since I was a little girl and never had any issue what so ever. Until now. I go to this pharmacy for myself as well as my parents to pick up prescriptions. Everyone there is always so nice and helpful and never makes you feel like you are bothering them but this one female worker there. Her name tag said “Besty” and she is a younger Hispanic girl with glasses that ALWAYS HAS THE NASTIEST ATTITUDE. I go through the drive thru the majority of the time as I did today. And she had me waiting at the window for over 5 mins. Then when she talked on the phone she was rude. No good evening no thank you for choose cvs. No nothing. All she said was name and date of birth. Which is fine but not in the manner in which she spoke to me. I let that go and I gave her both of my parents information and she says well for Mrs. Charles we are still working on her order. Now let me remind you I have the cvs app on my phone so I get notifications when a rx is ready. So I say to her none of her rx is ready. She then said 2 are but we are still processing the others. I said okay well I will take the 2 you have now along with my father’s rx. She then comes to the window doesn’t say anything just gives me the price and slams open the window drawer. So I put my card in there and she slams it back to her. Still not saying anything to me. She comes back a min later and slams the drawer open again and walks away from the window. She didn’t allow me to ask any questions which I did have because these are two new medications my parents are on. She didn’t ask was there anything else she could do or did I have any questions or concerns. She blatantly walked away from the window. I never had this type of issue at this location as I have been coming here for years. Cvs you may want to take this girl and place her in the back where she doesn’t have to communicate with the public because her attitude and disrespectful manner is not appropriate. I get it times are rough these day’s but she has been having this nasty attitude way before this world crisis. Please fix it. I would hate to have to go a step further to corporate. Thank you.
